GF Cauliflower crust pizza
Jake S.

Oh what a treat!! I had GF Mozzarella sticks which were almost like bread sticks with Moz mixed in. Really good. Then I had the GF baked onion soup. Yum! Haven't had that in years. Then of course I topped it off with Pizza! GF puffy cauliflower crust. Not your normal cardboard. It was so good. Only caught a pic of the pizza. The rest didn't have time to get their portrait taken. Don't pass this local classic up!

Table dedicated to the owner who passed in 2016. His son, Chef Chris, has since taken over the family business.

Small, family-owned Italian spot with big flavor. The lasagna was fantastic, the bread is handmade fresh daily (and dangerously addictive), and the pizza dough is made in-house too. Relaxed and cozy vibe that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy your meal. Chef Chris, the owner, came out to chat with each table and check in, which made the experience feel thoughtful and welcoming. A quiet neighborhood gem worth finding.

Oh, My Goodness!!! What a great evening at The Sicilian II Restaurant, our dear friends took us to eat there this past Saturday night. The Best Italian Food you will ever put in your mouth!! Everything was so perfect, each course of the meal, from the Flaming Saganaki appetizer "Opa"; the So So Delicious "Baked Onion Soup"; Bread Sticks; and our Excellent Italian Dishes (I had the Lasagna with real traditional marinara sauce, and my wife had the outstanding Ravioli), then to finish with a wonderful Chocolate Mousse. AND to top off the Great Meal; the visits by the Chef for each course, was the Icing on the Cake!!! He shared the history of his dad and family-owned business. The servers were the best!! Many Thanks to Our Friends (Kelly & Nick) for introducing us to Sicilian II We highly recommend visiting Sicilian II!!!! Noticed that the review showed we were from Hammond, LA, correction, we are from Hurley, MS

Med Supreme Pizza

In town for the week and had work to do so I got a pizza to eat in. This would have been 5 stars easy as the pizza was just incredible. The crust was incredibly thick which is nice, and the sauce was one of the best I've had. So much flavor in the ground beef. I had some the next day for lunch and it heats up great in a microwave. Some crusts get chewy heated up, but this was just like the night before. What I did t like was the service for the most part. I requested extra cheese and was asked twice to confirm if a surcharge was fine. I agreed. As you can see I don't think there was extra cheese at all. Than the credit card charge of 3.00 that you find out at checkout! It's a 22.00 bill and you add 3.00 which is over 12%. On top of that they ask if you will be leaving a tip, thinking they need to enter it. No they had you the machine to do it. Just found it rude. I typically tip for takeout, 10-15 percent, but don't like being pressured. So on a 22.00 bill, 3.00 for CC and 4.50 for tip gets excessive. I will still eat here again and love the pizza, I'll just bring cash next time. However, the setting inside I found to be very nice. Small but a great setting for Italian eating!!

Tried the spaghetti bolognese and I'm still thinking about it. The meat sauce was hearty with a good amount of seasoning, not too salty or bland. You could tell it had been simmered for a while because the flavors really came through. The portion was big enough for two meals but I finished the whole thing. The staff was friendly and gave great suggestions. Music inside was mellow and not too loud which I appreciate. Definitely felt like a good casual Italian spot without being over the top. Worth the price for sure.

Quiet little place. Great food for the price. Service is attentive. Mozzarella sticks are too salty for my liking. The bread is freshly baked.

I looked it up and checked out the reviews. I told my husband We are checking this place out. The food sounds good and the drinks are affordable. * This is a very popular place and for good reasons! The food was excellent, affordable, servings are plentiful and the drinks will not break you! Best advice come before they open you will thank me :) It gets full fast! I cant iterate this enough! **Be aware though you have to go up some steps and the elevator is not working ** They are expanding their space once again so that tells you how busy they are during Spring and Summer! The employees are nice and work hard. The view from outside on the patio that's peak vacation baby* They have a drink of the day which is what I got May 13th. It was a cucumber drink and my son got a pineapple paradise Hubbie got a Heineken for $5 . Not bad For the entrees I got the coconut shrimp platter, Hubbie tried the fish Bahamas grill using unicorn fish, and my son got pork tacos. I loved the coconut shrimp and next visit I will get it again next time with tater tots. I'm a tot girl through and through. The next day We came back and I got the Sunset Salad and Hubbie/Son both got Cubans . The servings were huge so We all took some to the hotel to eat later. Does this place deserve 5* ABSOLUTELY Is it exactly where you want to eat in a Beach town? Yes For affordable, good, plentiful portions and cheap drinks I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! The oysters were fresh as well. Shaggy's will now be a regular place I come back to when I need a chill place to hang with some great food.

Our son in law had his birthday today and wanted to come here and so we did! We came around 6pm and were seated quickly. The place has a very cool vibe - lovely patio dining - great warm fire feature on the patio - and a warm friendly interior. We got the menus and quite frankly were blown away by the wine and cocktail choices- drinks arrived swiftly. Our waitress- Jasmine - was simply amazing. I can not say enough about her warmth and hospitality. She helped us navigate the choices and made excellent recommendations- she was always present for us and omg the food. The "debris fries" as an appetizer was amazing - as beyond good as expected. I ordered the southern pot roast (over mashed red potatoes) and O M G. First bite and I had to stop and wave - I felt the warmth of the lord come down from above and provide what can only be described and a second coming to deliciousness! I had to pause and look up to the sky and ask our savior why I had spent my whole life never to come to Biloxi and find this place! See here; pot roast up north, and sure there in Texas - is different. It's all good. But this one, great balls of Fire - greatness. I slowly worked my way through - there's a slightly saltiness to it - perhaps from the gravy - but it all works sooooo well together. Honestly for this kid from West (by God) Virginia who's now 59 years old - it's like I found out for the first time how cooking should be done. I could go on for another few paragraphs about the pot roast or I could share how good the kids food was (it was all equally delicious). Let me cut to the chase. Food is beyond expectations! Our server (Jasmine) was amazing. If their other servers are 70% as good as her this is Michelin Star place right there ! Bar was hopping. Tables were happy - place has a great vibe. But the sweet ending - the price - was beyond fair / I expected to pay more for what I got. This place is an honest bargain. Or perhaps this Northerner is new to the South ? I don't know but I am so happy! Thanks to the wait staff, the greeter, the bar, and the management for leading a great experience!!!

The Boudin egg rolls were the best thing I ate on my entire trip. Perfectly seasoned and perfectly crispy, every bite was heaven. The jambalaya was the best jambalaya I had on my trip as well. It had a fantastic smokiness and was not wet at all. I also loved the crawfish étouffée. It was creamy and loaded. The red beans and rice had a bit of a sweet edge that was not quite my taste. Try for yourself. The bread pudding was the perfect sendoff. Bite-size beignets were nestled in the bread pudding. It was a sweet, creamy, perfectly Mississippi dessert. The etouffee was great. Wish there was more crawfish but I always wish there was more. We all probably do with most dishes. lol. The jambalaya was really good. Well seasoned. Now my wife is picky about gumbo and is a hard judge to please. I am a little more on the giving side and look at it from the perspective of "even a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work" point of view. A day with gumbo is generally a better day most days. The gumbo this day was not great. I have heard amazing things and I was not impressed. I will only mark off a star because everything else was so great. I hope it was just a bad day and we will hope for a better next time. And there will be a next time for sure.
