So, with the season ramping up, we were in need of some winter (snow) tires. I called a couple, national chains and got either ridiculous quotes or a sales pitch for further service. But, then I called a local, Colville Tire. They sell all the major brands, gave me options on what each set would run, installed. No pressure. No upsell. Cool! We made an appointment for a few weeks - closer to when we might start to need them. When we showed up, we were told the tires had not come in. This was pretty disappointing, not to mention annoying (we have to drive 40 miles to get there) since we'd scheduled so far ahead of time. The manager assured us we'd get a call to come in within a couple days. Sure enough, the call came and we scheduled for the next day. Service, once I got there, was prompt. The waiting area is a small, 12x12 room, but the four of us waiting were able to maintain "safe" distances (COVID). The final price was respectable - far better than we were quoted by the national competitors. We'll be back in the spring to get the tires switched out. Colville Tire did okay.

From the moment I walked in, they treated me like a valued customer and made the entire buying process smooth and stress-free. You guys were honest, professional, and took the time to answer all my questions without making me feel pressured. One thing that really stood out was your finance manager helped me get additional Toyota factory warranty coverage at cost because they knew it was something I wanted but I was struggling to fit into my budget. That meant a lot because it showed you guys all cared about protecting me as a customer! To you Kelly Cobos, and Vida Bolanos, thanks for taking care of me after other dealers didn't, it meant a lot to see how much you all cared! I really appreciate it. You all are really kind people. Thanks for taking the time to find me the right truck , and making things right for all I have been through with my last 2 bad Tacomas. It means a lot to see there are still people out there with such a kind attitude and heart. You guys went above and beyond and didn't have to do that! I really appreciate it! What really stood out was the personal touch--you guys even took the time to leave me a handwritten card after my purchase. Little things like that show they genuinely care about their customers and not just making a sale. Thanks for being there after as I found some little things I didn't notice at first. My Brain has been through so much I didn't notice them:( sorry I didn't bring them up before I left. After dealing with other dealerships, Colville Toyota was a breath of fresh air. I'm extremely happy with my new Toyota and would highly recommend Colville Toyota to anyone looking for a dealership that truly takes care of people. I'm so used to dealers taking advantage of people and not doing the right thing.

My wife and I had an outstanding experience with Colville Toyota! We decided to trade in our 2021…read moreCamry Hybrid LE for something a little bigger and Kevin Smith was incredibly accommodating in showing us a Rav 4 and a Highlander. We decided that we liked the Highlander and decided to put a $500 hold payment on it while we were waiting for a balance transfer to arrive in our account. We went home that night and discussed our financial situation and decided that although we really wanted the Highlander, we probably should stick something a little less expensive for now. We then saw that they had a Corolla Cross Hybrid coming and went back the next day to express interest in that. Kevin was amazing and did not try to upsell us or talk us back into the more expensive car; he showed us the Corolla Cross they had on the lot and let us sit in the seats. We weren't able to test drive it that day because it was pending sale. We made the decision to have them hold the Corolla Cross Hybrid that they had coming for us and we made a plan to come in and test drive it when it arrived. Due to some scheduling conflicts, we weren't able to come back and purchase the vehicle for another 4 days after we initially test drove the car. Our buying experience was fantastic! Hayden, Tim, Kevin and Kelly all really went out of their way to help us get an excellent monthly payment and work extremely hard to help make our budget and financial constrictions work! In the end, we got a lower payment than we were paying for our Camry. They offered us a great price for our Camry as well! Hayden went out of his way to get us an excellent services package while staying in our budget. At no point in time were any of the Colville Toyota staff rude, pushy or unprofessional! We happily drove away in our new 2024 Corolla Cross Hybrid, and we will happily refer anyone looking for a new Toyota to the amazing, friendly staff at Colville Toyota.

I'm posting this to document my experience with S and J Automotive (Joshua Scott) so others can…read moremake an informed decision. Work performed: Front-end work including struts and a control arm replacement. Timeline: March 29 - Initial charge: $2,253.39 (vehicle brought in / initial work). April 2 - Charge: $1,749.48 (front-end suspension work). April 15 (evening) - I picked the truck up. April 17 (around noon) - The outer tie rod end disconnected while my wife was driving slowly on a dirt road (after the truck had previously been on the highway). This caused a loss of steering control on one side. We were lucky this didn't happen at highway speed. Second opinion (what the next shop found): Because this was a steering/safety issue, I took the truck to a second mechanic. They requested a complete list of all work previously performed so they could diagnose and repair it correctly. During their inspection, they identified multiple issues with the parts and components installed by the prior shop, including items that were installed improperly and/or missing necessary hardware. Their findings were not limited to one component. What happened afterward (public posts): After I raised the safety issue, the business posted multiple public Facebook posts about me by name. Those posts included derogatory personal statements and accusations about my honesty and conduct, along with shifting explanations that conflicted with each other. I have preserved screenshots and documentation. Cease-and-desist / formal takedown demand: Because the situation escalated into personal public accusations, I sent formal written demands (cease-and-desist / takedown and retraction requests) asking that the posts be removed and corrected. I am preserving documentation of the posts and correspondence. Bottom line: A steering-related failure shortly after major front-end work is not something anyone should have to gamble with. Based on my experience and the second mechanic's inspection, I strongly recommend that anyone who has had any work done here obtain a second inspection to confirm everything is properly installed, fully secured, and safe. Update For further clarification, after this work was completed, an insurance claims adjuster reviewed the findings and reached the same conclusion regarding the condition and safety of the work. After that, a separate licensed repair shop independently was requested to inspect everything that had been worked on because the vehicle was unsafe to drive. They also reached the same conclusion: multiple aspects of the prior work were improperly performed and required correction before the vehicle could be operated safely. When I shared my experience on Google review, the business owner responded by making false statements about my character and profession on social media, rather than addressing the mechanical concerns or talking or messaging me privately. His statements are not accurate. Since posting my review, others have contacted me describing similar experiences. Because of the potential safety implications, I am encouraging anyone who believes they may have been affected to submit a complaint directly to the Washington State Attorney General so the matter can be reviewed through the appropriate consumer protection process. My purpose in posting this review is consumer awareness and vehicle safety. I am sharing my experience factually so others can make informed decisions.
