Our waiter for the evening, Martin could not have been nicer. He took our orders of a burger, mussels and chicken tenders for our daughter. They all tasted great! My favorite, however, was the complimentary bread basket, with the most delicious, soft bread with sun-dried tomatoes, a side of soft butter in olive oil and a sprinkling of sea salt and chili flakes. He also gave us a complimentary amuse bouche - salmon on a cucumber with crema and roe. Again, delicious and refreshing. The mussels came in a green curry sauce with a julienned veggies and Thai red chilis. The fries on the side were crisped to perfection as was the spicy mayo it came with. They have an extensive wine selection. As a New Yorker, I value a good wine bar scene with ambience but the prices here/ Norway are no joke. I went for a French red which was the cheapest at 200nok/ 20usd. To top it all off, Martin went the extra mile to give my daughter a vanilla ice cream, made in house. The service cannot be faulted.
