You are locked into a room and someone is watching you as you solve riddles to reveal the plot. The clues to solving the riddles are offered in the artifacts that are in the room. Additional hints are offered along the way if you don't make progress in solving a riddle. It's incredibly fun, demonstrating how well you can communicate and work together with your teammates towards a common goal. Even my 10 year old son contributed to solving the puzzles. It's a bit expensive, but fun to try. You normally need to make an appointment and some of the rooms fill up fast. This particular one is a bit outside Munich. We called 30 minutes before coming and they took us. They were very accommodating.

I believe that these factors are needed to fully enjoy an escape room. Perplexxx is one of the most entertaining escape rooms I have done. Great story, very dedicated host. The puzzles are very fluent, they take you from one to another. Challenging but not impossible. Smart room with technology and gadgets. I definitely recommend this establishment. These rooms were well made and you can tell that the owner is dedicated to the experience of the players rather than just having a business. Difficulty 2/ Host 2/ Décor 2/ Fluidity 2/ Fun Factor 2. One of my favorite rooms so far when it comes to décor and props. This room was very physical. It keeps you actively completing challenges. I absolutely love the concept. Sadly, some of the gadgets or mechanism were not working properly. In addition, one note was only in German. So, they had to translated over the speaker. It appears that the host was busy at some point because he disappeared from the radio for a few minutes. I guess he was greeting another group. We had lots of fun…read moreand our "help guy" through the game, Dimitri, was very welcoming and did a great job at giving us a push when we needed it. Overall the rooms are really creative. We did one game with three different rooms. It was mostly practical rather than riddle solver, which was really entertaining. One challenge was, in my opinion, not possible to solve without help and I think at the moment the sound was not working when you found a new clue so it was hard to tell if we solved the challenge or not (but Dimitri would then let us know if we did not notice!). Definitely would recommend!!
