what a bunch of time wasting pillocks ,
i have a garage in the york area that does a lot of restoration work and was pleased to find a local upholstery trimmer instead of having to do it all myself or send it away, so thought i would get a few simple things done to check the workmanship before giving them the tricky expensive jensen interiors
spoke on phone told them that i needed some classic car parts trimming new door cards etc and would be a regular thing and what other things i had that would need doing , was told on the phone not a problem just to bring them down so they can see them to give a price, so when i had a little time i went to find them and take the bits, when i eventually found the place (not sign posted)
( i never told him it was me who had rang a few weeks back)
they never even bothered to take the bits from my hand say hello or do anything polite just turned round very bluntly and said no we do don't work on old stuff only new cars and modern vehicles !!!!!
what the hell are classic car parts if they are not old !!
these are very basic upholstery items if they can't make them, then there is something severely wrong with their workmanship. i was going to get a couple of my personal cars done as well but not now
unbeknown to them they have just lost out on tens of thousands of pounds of work a year read more
