We last came to Cromer on Holiday 2 years ago and couldn't fault The Sandwich Stop, we had a baguette 3 or 4 times for lunch, the fillings offered were delicious and varied, the Brie and cranberry was devine, and the products were good quality, so we were really looking forward to visiting again this year (2012) for our lunch. We dont know if it has new owners but we were so disappointed, the fillings on offer were just ordinary, we in the end decided on roast pork baguettes, when we got back to where we were staying and unwrapped our lunch, we were faced with a pretty boring pale tasteless lunch, which we could have easily made our selves for less the half the price but it definately would have had more flavour. The pork used was, you could tell a very cheap cut of pork, and for the £3.40 it cost per baguette was not worth the money. 2 years ago the standard and range of their food was right up there and so worth the money, now I'm afraid it is not. We can't express how disappointed we are . The staff though were as friendly as ever. read more
