Get a facial, manicure (beyond basic), pedicure (beyond basic), deep hair conditioning and haircut. Of course this is by students, so they take a bit longer to get things done. The facial was great. Very relaxing and was about 45 minutes or maybe an hour. The manicure, well...let's just say, you don't want polish and it's beyond basic. Nails trimmed, that's about it. Pedicure, same as the manicure, beyond basic and you really don't want the nail polish. The deep conditioning and hair cut took quite a while but they did a decent job. Unfortunately, they don't keep their appointment times. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment time and I didn't get called for 45 minutes after my appointment time. After already having a long day, I was not happy to have had to wait this long. You get what you pay for, but I'd return, just need to plan to be there all day.

Enjoyed my few hours of the day as a Queen. My tech was…read moreAlex and she was really great with everything. First came the mini facial- so very relaxing and Zen. Then the shampoo before the conditioning treatment for the hair. The shampoo was absolutely one of the best I have had. The cholesterol conditioner was applied and a cover placed on my head. Next was the mani and pedi. The only thing is that they don't have the regular pedicure chairs so it is very old school with a foot basin and an office chair, not very comfortable. Keep in mind is a very basic regular pedi and mani not the spa type. As Alex mentioned she liked doing the pedis and manis but did not like the color polishing so it wasn't the best polish job. But practice will help. Next came the rinsing and another shampoo. Did I mention how good she shampooed my hair! And to finish the Queen for a Day treatments a full blow out. I really liked the the way Alex did my hair. It is very fine but looked nice and fluffy. These services are performed by the students with supervision by their instructors. I would return again as it was enjoyable , relaxing and a fun afternoon. Alex had an amazing personality and I wish her luck in her future endeavors!

I had a hard time throughout my school years, but once attending Salisbury I truly found myself and knew who and what I wanted to be. The area is perfect! Close to the beach! 3 hours from DC! And close to so many nice day trips! There's a lot of opportunities for you to join clubs and sororities. The eating hall is amazing! I'm pretty sure they were nominated for best college food at some point. I lived on campus my whole time there and absolutely loved it! TC Studios hosted a paint night in the back room at the Black Flags Brewery in Columbia, MD. It was…read moresuch a cool venue, especially since we were in the back brewing room, which was full of the beer-making equipment and was a lot quieter than the noisy front part of the bar (they were popular!). Ali and Lindsay (unsure of spelling), along with DJ Jamie, were the best hosts. We were entertained and engaged the entire time and they provided us with everything we needed! All three of them were so fun and friendly, and I definitely want to be Ali's BFF because she's so charming! We submitted our pet pictures a week ahead of time when purchasing our tickets, and by the time we arrived to the event, our dog was sketched out on a blank canvas with numbers the corresponded with the paints on our palettes in front of our seats. It was easy to find our spots, and the process itself was pretty clear (especially since I've done paint nights before) but they answered all of our questions quickly and knowledgably! I loved the flexibility of following along with their step-by-step instructions OR going at our own pace (my ADHD does not make me a patient artist lol). Ali mentioned that it was Lindsay's first night emcee-ing for a group of us, and she did awesomely. The microphones were really helpful in making sure that everyone could hear, and they were constantly on the move to help with questions and suggestions on how to improve our pieces, along with encouragement and positive feedback. If you weren't happy with the paint colors supplied to you, you could ask for new colors (or refills of what you needed). The two hours flew by, and by the time we finished and were ready to leave, we had two beautiful paintings. Also, special shout out to DJ Jamie for the awesome music selection -- very often, he was able to coordinate the songs/lyrics with the instructions at the time AND the pet-theme of the night ("paint it black", "pink", "who let the dogs out", etc) which was hilarious and a very nice additional touch. I'm so glad they're a traveling troupe because I'm not in Ocean City nearly as much anymore as I was when I was younger, and they pair with so many local places to host events that I'm sure I'll be able to attend another paint night eventually!
