I was told they had moved and someone would call me back in 30 minutes... I received a call several hours later Voicemail "Hi this is Beth from Total Driving Instruction, I heard you tried to come by our office, I can be reached at 816-398-0078" I called back and confirmed my Saturday appointment at 12:30. Fast forward to Saturday - No instructor - So we called and finally received a callback from the instructor. She said she thought we were scheduled for 2:30. I cancelled and refused an offer for a callback.

I have been doing a lot of research on schools in KCMO because I want to get my CDL. I have called…read morea few including this school. One of the things I discovered is that schools are required to be licensed at the state level to be legal to operate as a post secondary educational school. I also discovered that students can file complaints with the state so it is a good idea to research whether or not the school has any complaints. After calling the Missouri Department of Higher Education I found out that Gear Monkey isnt even a licensed school in the state of Missouri. They are operating with no authority and with no legal right to do so. I dont understand how they are allowed to do that. I will be attending Metropolitan Community College where I am sure they are licensed and have an approved program.
