I did not expect it to be that good! We needed a wash bad and was the only place close to us. i…read morehighly recommend it, pics below!!!

I didn't need to read any of the previous reviews to know this was a mediocre car wash, although it…read morehas so much potential it remains to be just okay in my opinion. I didn't come here thinking my 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ would leave here spiffy clean, my objection was to remove the road grime from the exterior after dragging it behind my RV for a thousand miles through a few thunderstorms. Only one of the drive through menu auto pay bays was operating, the hand written sign taped on the controller stating the "buff and dry" was out of order was the first indicator, the two attendants holding wands directing my wheels into the chain drive was the second they didn't do any pre-wash to my front end or wheels even though I purchased the $12 premium wash I thought that showed a complete lack of motivation but it wasn't a deal breaker. As I was pulled through the colorful pre-soak and detergents section it all appeared to be functional and the water pressure and soft scrub brushes seemed effective. The end result was okay, it was much cleaner than before I entered so I felt it my objective was met although I feel it was worth a lot less but I know utilities and chemicals aren't cheap and the owner does have a significant investment here. I didn't come here expecting a quality detail or spot free shine so I wasn't disappointed, if I was looking for more than this place is capable of delivering I might feel slighted, but my expectations were pretty low going in so it is what it is and I'll be back I'm sure if I'm in the area, if I want more I'll go somewhere else it's that simple...

Take 5 Car Wash

Take 5 Car Wash

BEWARE - Poor Business Practices at Take 5 Car Wash…read more On July 31, 2025, I went through the Take 5 Car Wash at 6045 Folsom Dr. in Beaumont, TX, and the machine ripped the secure, undamaged cover off the spare tire mounted on the back of my 2012 Rav4. As I pulled into the vacuum area, I noticed the cover missing, only to see another car rolling over it and dragging it, causing further damage. I immediately reported the incident. Tyrone, a kind and helpful employee, took a report and stated that he felt that there was no reason they wouldn't cover the damage. He also mentioned that a new employee had been working the entry and probably failed to press the code indicating that my vehicle had an external tire cover, something that should have alerted the system and prevented this exact issue. No one followed up. I returned on August 5 to request a claim number and was told a manager would contact me. No one did. Today, I received notice that my claim was denied based on the age of my car, claiming "rust and deterioration" were the cause, not their equipment. This is simply not true. The tire cover was in excellent condition with no rust, no metal involved, and it fit tightly. I have photos, and I still have the damaged part. According to a local Toyota parts department, the replacement cost is approximately $380--money I'm now expected to pay due to their mistake. Shame on Take 5 for poor follow-up, false claims, and refusal to take responsibility. I will not be returning, and I strongly urge others to beware.

This place has really gone downhill since it was taken over. The very high prices are not…read morejustified by the poor quality of the wash. There are two pre-wash stations for bugs, which consist of a bucket and broom. This area is easy to drive past and, quite frankly a modern car wash should be able to take care of a low bug burden on a car. Also, who knows what the water is like in that bucket. The car wash itself didn't seem to make my car much cleaner than if I had thrown a bucket of soapy water over it then rinsed it off. I did raise my concerns with an employee who, although very friendly, seemed to care little for my satisfaction. Given how many car washes there are now, I won't be back to this one.
