It was conveniently located to jet across the boarder to scope out Gibraltar yet is better positioned on the Spanish side of the boarder for delicious tapas and good nightlife. I slept really well and the next morning we enjoyed the amazing selection at the buffet breakfast then I went for a swim in the pool before we checked out - wonderful! The only things to note were that the pool is unfortunately only open 10am - 7pm but that was ok for us in the end. They also have very secure on site parking which is €10 per night and very convenient. I'd recommend this place - great value compared to other places we found and the front desk staff was super helpful!

Got a walk up rate of €35 per night which isn't bad considering there was nothing in Gibraltar for under £100! Wifi included but it doesn't work in the rooms, you have to sit in the (cold) lounge on the first floor.

I felt safe, but not sure I would do it with the family or if I was a single women. You kinda have to walk thru the "projects" to get there. The hotel staff was nice. The buffet breakfast and afternoon expresso was well appreciated. Free wifi in the lobby, but in the room it was expensive. Also, the upload speed was dreadfully slow. Just some general advice, if you're going Gibraltar more than once, stay in Gibraltar. The border crossing (especially coming back into Spain) is really a pain in the a$$. Also, don't forget your passports, you are leaving Spain and entering into British Territory.

They offer a laundry service (not too cheap though), and I wish we'd had time to use the pool and gym, however we did enjoy the complimentary breakfast in the morning. It is a short taxi trip to Gibraltar from the hotel, but you save money by staying in Spain. The staff was professional and accommodating.

This place isn't going to be everybody's cup of tea, it's not the modern 4 star you may find in the metropolitan cities of Europe these days but it has its own unique and glowing charm to it. From the grand drive up to the entrance to the Moorish influenced architecture and orange trees overhanging the outdoor summer eating area. Our room was an average size, with a decent balcony, our room also had a massive bathroom (almost as big as the bedroom), the beds were comfortable and the hanging space was more than ample. The TV had seen better days but worked perfectly (even showing a live premier league game in the afternoon, albeit with Spanish commentary). The food in the buffet-style restaurant was varied and delicious, certainly of a higher quality than other hotels I have stayed in with self-service facilities. I believe an all-inclusive option is available for a very reasonable price direct from the hotel. We stayed on a Saturday evening and were fortunate to witness the Spanish dancing that is held in the hotel on Saturday evenings, which was spectacular. All in all, a lovely experience, I would definitely return.

The rooms have a modern decor but unfortunately modern in this case also means cheap. The beds are somewhat uncomfortable so you basically get what you pay for. This is a lower standard of hotel than a regular Marriott but for a few nights it works well. Breakfast was included and was very good. Dinner was disappointing in every way. I had a steak which was tough and my coworker had a chicken or probably an old hen which was very tough. Since we came for New Years Eve our choices were limited. Overall the staff was very friendly and helpful.
