It's obvious that Pastor Clay caters to vacationers because the messages are pretty much the same each week. Over time Pastor Clay has become a too "modern". Using the term Flipping or Freaking where the F word could be used. I made a comment basically defending police officers and was told to "check my self". Three gals privately messaged me and told me to take my racist ass and leave. Another called me a racist bitch. Three other families that I know have left this church. God never goes out of style or changes to meet the times.

In my experience this is not a church walking the path of Christ, or encouraging believers to…read moredeeper relationship through faith and trust. There are several public stories of the financial path of this place in Google, and I guess I would point out the simple nature that is reflected in this scripture from John 15:2 "He[God] cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunesa so that it will be even more fruitful." While I have no judgement of the endgame, my observation is that much has been cut off in the present. My personal experience here is that of abusive language and excessive metaphor thrown about by the head pastor in my direction. I received verbal coercion to align my convictions with their opinions. In the process of trying to 'mediate' a difference in opinion between myself and the mother of my children, the pastor told me directly that I did not "deserve" my son and daughter. It was at that point that I realized the coercive forces were not in line with scripture, my conscience, or the goal of peacemaking held out by Christ and his words. Whatever good intentions religious people may have, it is not the way of Christ to be divisive, or coercive with guilt as the main tool. I pray you do not have this experience here, but that you are filled with the spirit of the living God for worship, relationship, and positive change in the world.

Yet they remain humble with giving hearts. Leaders who know what pain is and allow it to teach them. Willing to admit when they are wrong and ask forgiveness. People who know what it is to depend on the Lord for everything. They are living examples to us all as to how to live the true Christian life in the hear and now. They have stood the test of time. For a while, it was honestly so difficult to make connections that we even wondered if we had made a mistake moving here. Then we found Wellspring Church. Through Wellspring, we found an incredible community and genuine friendships with people our age who are always up for doing something going to the beach, hanging out at a brewery, watching NFL games, going to the gym, or just spending time together. At first, I thought it might be a little weird for me because I've never considered myself the most "church person." But I quickly realized there were hundreds of other young people coming to Wellspring looking for the same thing we were: community, friendships, purpose, and a place to belong. Wellspring completely changed our experience living in Myrtle Beach. If you're new to the area, especially if you're a young adult struggling to meet people and find your community, I couldn't recommend Wellspring enough.

You feel the love when you walk into the building! The congregation does not need to be told to…read more"greet your neighbor," because everyone does it on their own. Especially new visitors. I have been to churches all over the country, and the friendliness and kindness here is unparalleled. This in no way takes away from the preaching. What could be better than line by line preaching of all of scripture, not just the nice parts. The bold, witness that the preacher and his family project inspires each attendee to focus on Jesus and what He did for each of us on the cross, and reject the corrupt values this world pressures us to join. The congregation is so warm and inviting. Anything you need just ask the pastor and he will do his best to help! I'm planning a move and when the pastor mentioned it to the congregation I had 2 offers to help me move. It's only a 30 mile journey or so. But it's so amazing that people will go out of their way to make sure you're good. I had a heart attack last week and the pastor announced that I told him no matter what I was going to church. I still was hurting but I made it just to see my "family" at the church and talk to God in his home.

Kelly have been attentive and loving pastors to this small congregation, and always show a hearty, spiritual welcome to any and all. God has, and will continue to honor their efforts, Did I still live in the area, I would gladly attend regularly. I extend my love to the saints there. I have many fond memories of my time spent among the saints of the Apostolic Church there, and I Thank God for the growth within the truth in that area. God Bless Bro. and Sis.
