Gorgeous venue, wonderful bartenders and a cool vibe. I spent my birthday here and it was pretty chill. I also been here on a couple Saturdays and it's totally worth it.

We rolled up into this place on a weekend and Tori instantly made us feel at home in a city that's not our own. The booth seats and candle lit tables were a plus but she found a drink for me that I absolutely loved and made us feel like regulars. Would only be back for Tori

Tori is an absolute star behind the bar--cute, hot, and seriously talented. We came in from Louisville to celebrate my best friend's birthday, and out of every drink we had that weekend (and trust me, we sampled plenty), Tori made us the best one by far. Like, sip-it-slow-so-it-lasts-longer level good. She's got that perfect mix of charm and confidence--you can tell she knows her craft, but she's also just genuinely fun to talk to. She made us feel like instant regulars and brought such good vibes to the whole night. Also... did we mention she's hot? Because yeah. That too. If you're in town and Tori's working--run, don't walk to her barstool. She's everything you want in a bartender and more. Cheers to you, Tori--you're unforgettable.

Cool vibe and jazzy tunes. Just heard that are about to update and do some remodeling on the inside. Can't wait to learn more. Across the street from my office so it's easy access for me. I'm a really nice part of downtown Cincinnati. I will definitely be back!

Righteous room is a definite go to spot for us! They always have an awesome drink deal going on. Their bartenders have always been super nice and friendly. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because every now and then they have a live DJ which isn't bad, but doesn't quite make sense for the small space they have. It doesn't really fit the vibe for a chill cocktail bar in my opinion.

Great place for drinks and near many restaurants. They also have a happy hour, which would be great after work with friends. It's located in the heart of downtown and a few minutes walk from many things to do! It's a small nice & cozy place to relax and people watch. Outside seating is also available, which is quite lovely once the sun goes down.

One of my go-to bars in Cincy! Delicious cocktails in a classy but laid back atmosphere with chill and friendly bartenders and great daily specials. Sundays are the best! They have reverse happy hour starting at 8 where all drinks $13 and under are half price!

Nice place to enjoy happy hour before heading to the Aronoff for a show. Today the vibe was chill. Last visit the music was so loud and bass driven we didn't stay for a drink. I prefer the techno alt chill vibe we found tonight. Great bartender!

I have always passed the Righteous Room but never stopped in. Well I finally did a few weekend ago and thought it was a cute bar! The ambiance is romantic, sexy, and cozy. The tables were lit by candles. I believe later on in the night the vibes change when a DJ is present or an event is happening. The drinks were fun. They also had certain liquors on sale, which my boyfriend enjoyed. Definitely a cute spot after a date or dinner.

My friend and I stopped in here somewhere in the middle of a bar-hopping adventure, and this place has a stellar Happy Hour deal that sets them apart. Enjoy happy hour from 4pm - 8pm, Monday through Saturday. This brings their House Cocktails down to $5-$6 a piece. This place also had the most varied patrons. We saw everyone from young, enthusiastic folks (accompanied by their pet bird?!?) to older, casual folks. A lot of diversity. I plan to go back just to take advantage of those fantastic happy hour deals again!

I believe they open the front windows during nice weather but in the winter, you're snug and cozy and the hustle and bustle of Walnut St is miles away.

It was cold outside so it was the perfect time to visit, since they have multiple fireplaces and it's nice and cozy inside. It was early afternoon and not busy, so the only employee we saw was the bar, but she kept everyone's drinks full and was very friendly. She told us to have a seat wherever we wanted but to come to the bar to order our drinks. We both got cocktails, an Old Fashioned and a Kentucky Mule and both were quite good. They don't have much food, just some pre-packaged chips and such but some of the chips were from China with pretty odd flavors, so that was kind of fun to give a try. The photos I have seen online don't do this place justice. It's cute and comfy and super clean. Even the women's bathroom had cute decor! As we were leaving, a band was setting up to play later that evening. I was pleasantly surprised to see they often have live music and on Fridays and Saturdays, they have a band from 5-7 and another from 8-10.

Ordering twice gave us the opportunity to explore several dishes, and the quality and presentation remained thoughtful each time. Service was prompt and seamless, allowing us to enjoy a restaurant-level meal in the comfort of our room without losing the sense of intention behind the food. We sampled the steak and eggs, omelette, pork hash, along with lattes and cappuccinos. The coffee program was excellent, balanced and well crafted, pairing beautifully with the savory dishes. The steak and eggs and omelette were satisfying and well executed, but the true standout was the pork hash. It was deeply flavorful, comforting yet elevated, with a richness that felt chef-driven rather than heavy. Every bite carried warmth and depth, making it the highlight of our stay. Metropole succeeds in creating a dining experience that feels both approachable and quietly sophisticated. Even through in-room dining, the kitchen's attention to detail shines through, making it a place we would gladly return to for another thoughtfully prepared meal.

I came out in December for their Miracle pop-up in 2025…read more As someone who has gone to a ton of holiday cocktail bars and pop-ups over the last 10 years, Overlook Lodge's is probably the best I've ever been to. Be aware it will be FAST. Look at the order ahead of time if you're a picky eater/drinker. They run your appointment like clockwork, and you'll be in-and-out, gulping down cocktails, through the entire experience. Your two drinks are included (this year, anyway), and I'd honestly be surprised if you managed to have time for a third. Time zips by fast. That being said, because they do it this way, you essentially have constant service, there's "events" that happen at the end of your reservation time, (I don't want to spoil it, but cover your drink!), and then they kick you out. Service was friendly, though, and I saw the server make time to take group photos for all of the tables (including ours) with someone at the table's camera. (No bullshit "group photo" upsells here) It's kinda loud, though, and I wouldn't recommend this as a chill meet-up-and-socialize spot. (If you wanna talk, they have an addendum, Christmas-themed laid-back bar next door.) It's more of a "get blasted in the face by Christmas for an hour and then leave" experience. It's pretty loud, and talking can be a bit difficult over the music and constant interruptions (more drinks? Photos? Cute Christmas video montage?) But this works in its favor as it feels the most Christmas, over-the-top, and seasonal out of all the holiday bars I've ever been to. It also keeps it from feeling too crowded as reservations are required, so you for-sure have a seat and you don't have to stand forever in line to wait for drinks. I'd probably guesstimate that bar staff is making all of their seasonal drinks, constantly, and servers just pick one up to deliver. With the capacity in here, it would make sense. No idea what the bar is like the rest of the year; this is just a review for the Miracle pop-up which, again, is probably the best I've been to in the Midwest. Cincinnati, you're spoiled down here. (Sidenote, I was absolutely taken aback by their TV presentation on the wall. It's hard to describe, but it isn't just a projector showing a giant rectangle. It's specifically slotted into the holes in-between holiday decorations. Staff told me that had to hire special technicians to get it to show up that way and that's seriously a level of detail I am so amazed by.)
