I was was a client there a few months ago and have nothing but good things to say about this place. My counselor was terrific, and I learned a lot in the groups. Still sober, which my family is very happy about. Interesting what this lady said about Graypel. I actually, met with him when I was there and he quickly figured out that my big thing was a depression that was never addressed adequately and that I was trying to medicate in addition to pills that by previous psychiatrist prescribed. I still see a NP in his outpatient office and continue treatment Dr. Graypel started while I was at HH and it's still working for me. What I also like about HH, that this place is a lot of options, convenient for those who can only come for outpatient programs. And yes - food is terrific there, and this is the only place I know of that allows you to have your phone... Highly recommend Harris House!

The treatment is working so I highly recommend TMS but this place is unprofessional & mostly incompetent. What is good? Jesse. He is the best provider out there. He is kind, compassionate, professional & skilled with the machine. He makes it a joy to come for treatment. My 1st visit, I was told my copay is $15 after the guy consulted my insurance company while I waited. Bridget then said my copay was $25 but they would waive $10 of it, I would only pay $15. Today, the owner was talking to me & telling me how they were "compensating me" $10 each visit for the problems I have had, so I called my insurance, my copay is & always was $15. The are not compensating me in any way. One day, the machine was triggering my jaw to rattle so badly I was afraid I would break a tooth. Mackenzie, the new hire, told me "get a mouth guard". Bridget said it should not be happening & worked to fix it. It happens when the machine fires on the nerve. I have video of it & that day, I just had to open my mouth wide every time the machine fired so I didn't crack any teeth. It was not just a one time occurance. It happens frequently except with Jesse. Why is it they are all following the same directions on the machine & Jesse gets it right every time and the others can't? Mackenzie told me she got the job because a family member (she clearly stated which family member but I won't further violate that privacy here) received treatment there. That is very CLEARLY a HIPAA violation. Her family deserves the privacy everyone deserves under the law. I was shocked & pointed it out to her, and she said "ohhhkkkaaay". I also told Bridget & the owner. Seriously?! This is a firable offense in some medical facilities. Everything I read about TMS people say they have the same tech throughout the experience. I have a new tech each day of the week. They have varying social & professional & medical skills. The owners husband/co-owner does the books there but he also deals with patients. He is very nice & very polite & says yes ma'am. I have had him for a few sessions now and he is kind and gentle and a pleasure to chat with. In reading about what to expect when getting TMS, it says they will take your blood pressure & weight. I've never been weighed & their blood pressure cuff was broken. They tried 2 days but the Velcro didn't work. The staff said it had been broken for a while. I brought my own from home to test me. They now finally have one that works & guess what, a patient bought it for them with her own money. It's just another example in what makes this feel a less than reputable medical treatment facility. I ask myself is why is there no petty cash? Why are the employees so hesitant to ask the owner for a new blood pressure cuff? They have one wipe off marker right now in the office. They require you to do an evaluation every day using said marker. Why is no one going to Office Depot for more markers? Scheduling has also been an issue. They booked me twice one day. They failed to make scheduling changes we talked about, in the computer, making me to show up twice at the "wrong" time causing me embarrassment & to even miss a session. I was told by my counselor was I would be meeting with her or the doctor weekly. I met the doctor on a Saturday night, Dec. 15th at the office for the assessment & have never seen him again. I googled & his main office is not even in this city, he primarily sees clients in Columbia MO. I don't believe I am getting the best treatment. I think they are cutting corners. I am grateful to be getting better but wish it was being done more ethically & professionally. Kim, the owner, see me as a complainer. These are not personal opinions, they are facts. There are too many mistakes & issues to trust them with your health.

I never felt so excited to see a therapist until I discovered Tracey. I feel very comfortable speaking with her, & very confident seeing a specialist who genuinely cares about my well being & want to help me get better. I have been in therapy for over 5 years now & I don't get asked "So how do you feel about that?" like I have with previous therapists talking about pressing issues. The shoe fits differently for everyone, but with Tracey being so well rounded specializing with such variety of things you may need help with, I feel in such a safe, light at the end of the tunnel headspace. It took me about a month to actually get in and start setting up the appointments. You do often I have to leave messages as there's no one at the front desk all the time and they typically call you back within the same day. The therapist that we have been using for about three weeks now has been incredible and my child is always super excited to return and talks about it. So I know she's getting exactly what she needs. We had a therapist prior to our current one and it just wasn't the right fit. The facility was really great at working with us. I will say the facilities also great working on times to accommodate your schedule so that you can continue treatment on times that work for you.

You can not expect professional services for free. And you can not please everyone. My personal experience. All of the counselors including the billing guy were knowledgeable, went beyond helping me and my issues. They found a way. I am very appreciative for helping me cope in my time of need. It literally feels like a comforting home when you arrive and their is no pressure once you walk in the door. The counseling sessions and steps were excellent. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I really recommend this Counseling practice to anyone out there that need services. They range from children to adults. I highly recommend.
