This place is very unsatisfactory. It has an insufficient space, very small quarters. The sheets on the bed, I have seen are very very unsanitary. The lady running the place would have one client who is all sweaty enter the sheets of the only single bed she has (in the small room) and then have another client (who is waiting in what is to be the the office/foyer/entrance to the bathroom) enter in those same sheets. It was my turn but I could not simply enter or even sit on the bed, knowing what was on it. I recommend she cleans the sheets or even switch them between clients. That is not the only thing. She is unpunctual, so she will have you waiting outside for 45 min. from the time of my appointment and then show up opening the door. I understand being late But 45 minutes late! With No Call to let me know whether or not she is coming?! Over all it was a Waist of my time. Seriously was. I hope my experience helps others make a better decision of whether or not to waist their saturday going through a hectic/unsanitary hassle. There are other better places than this small defective deficient hut. It is really not worth the time or money. Go if you want, But don't say you weren't warned. Never again. I had the privilege of getting my first lash lift done by Neidyn, as well as my eyebrows threaded, and my experience at Revel was absolutely amazing! The studio was very clean and Neidyn was super professional and gentle throughout the entire process. She explained everything step by step, which was very comforting since I had never gotten an eyelash lift done before. I've gotten eyelash extensions in the past, but I wasn't satisfied with them because my own eyelashes were falling out with the false lashes. At least with the eyelash lift, I appreciated that I was using my own lashes within the process to achieve the look I wanted. Also, this was my first threading done on my eyebrows in over two years, and was way less painful than any other threading sessions I've done in the past. My first experience at Jacqueline's Skins Studio was amazing. The little white house is unassuming from the exterior but the inside is spotless and serene. The treatment room is relaxing and comfortable. I made my appointment on-line, based on the treatment descriptions, and appreciated the confirmation and reminders that were delivered directly to my phone. I'm so glad I booked the MicroCurrent "Natural Facelift". The results of the treatment were long lasting. Several people commented the next day how refreshed and rested I looked! Everything at Jacqueline's is natural and organic. Her studio is elegant, clean, and inviting. I can't wait to go back for another treatment, perhaps trying other offerings. The online reservation system is the best for people like me who like to plan appointments way in advance. Jacqueline is so professional and makes you feel so comfortable from the moment you walk in. She is wonderful to talk to and explained everything in detail. I went to her for my eyebrows and she spent the time going over the shape and the look I wanted to achieve. I was so impressed by this place that I had to come on and write a quick review. This Skin Studio is a little hidden treasure in Larchmont. It's located right across the street from BLD Diner. As the previous reviewer described, I saw a sign in the window and had to check it out. The owner is amazing! I instantly felt like I connected with her. Such a charming & beautiful woman. My first trip was for a waxing but I'm anxiously awaiting my next visit for a FACIAL!! I'm not sure exactly what waxing products she uses but its definitely not the type of wax used at local places...My skin was left feeling better than ever and I never got any bumps like I have in the past. I have been going to see Jacqueline since she opened in the fall. I was looking to find someone who could help me with breakouts and poor skin in general. I have seen a huge improvement with my skin. The Stem Cell facial is amazing. I love the products that she uses and the advice she has given me. She made me so comfortable that I was able to discuss other concerns I had with body hair. Coming from a different country it's been challenging but spending time in the studio is always so welcoming and pleasant, it's so comfortable thanks to Jacqueline. Jacqueline did my first Brazilian wax for my wedding and I am still going to her for all of my waxing needs over a year later and even during my pregnancy. I was nervous the Brazilian would hurt more during pregnancy but Jacqueline is such an expert she uses different techniques and types of waxes to make it an actually enjoyable experience.
