In April, Due to Covid19 and the shutdowns, I initially requested to reschedule or be given a refund of my deposit. I was told that I could reschedule. I was thinking I would gave to reschedule for the following week of maybe two weeks. That was fine except the executive order kept getting extended and Covid19 continued to get worse.. My sister didn't feel comfortable having a baby shower. So after requesting for a refund twice, I have not received any response. So I am here warning everyone to use caution when dealing with them. Im disappointed that this happened to me. It's not fair and like mentioned above, its unethical. The owner should have contacted me to cancel my reservation and offer a refund. Unfortunately, that didn't happen.

There was wine, beer & soda available as well. The service was pretty good. There is a 2nd floor as well and some people were sitting up there. I think they were the musicians and their family though. The event itself was awesome. I'm not a folk or country music fan, but I love good live music. There was a good variety of music (folk, country, blues, or all of the above). The energy in the room was amazing. This is a charity event that people attend every year. I'm so glad we were invited to attend. The Community House is definitely old & holds a lot of history. I loved the atmosphere & found it to be very intriguing. It definitely needs a lot of TLC, and looks like they're having some serious structural issues. The occasion for this day was the Annual Donate Life Creating Comfort Blanket Event. I believe this is the third year it has been held here at the Pearls. This club will make it happen, and you can do it with your girlfriends in tow. For the work-from-home crowd they offer drop-in coworking every other Friday. Bring your laptop and use the WiFi. The workshop leader was informative and friendly. Just enough information for a novice to begin their journey into podcasting. Would like to take a more technical workshop next that focuses on tools and actual technical aspects of podcasting. Hope they add something like that in the future. The course list they offer looks interesting and I can see myself coming back for more.
