Tried to buy a lower over the phone, and was met with a very arrogant and rude individual who said he didn't have time to take my order and hung up when I was ready to give my CC info after asking a few basic and important questions about item. The phone call was literally 5 min long, apparently they don't have that kinda time for you. They do not have online retail store, only GB which charges taxes and fees. Avoid at all costs, this dummy just lost the easiest sale ever, I wouldn't buy anything from these guys ever. Very poor service. read more

This place is awesome!!! I was impressed from the moment I walked into their facility. I am a firearms instructor out of King County. I am leading with that, but it will make sense towards the end. I was able to make reservations with Chelsea to rent a bay to conduct some training. She was extremely helpful and had great communication. When I arrived, I was impressed with the amount of parking... and do they need it. It gets very busy and for very good reason(s). You have to walk through the store front to get to the range. Walking in, there is a barista counter (w/ seating) immediately to your right. Nobody had been occupying it at the time, but it is obviously an amenity that is available. The store front was immaculate and very well organized. An ocean of parts and accessories sectioned out by platforms. Their displays and selection of firearms, were even more impressive. Over on the range side, the awesomeness continues. The check-in process is so systematic. Me, and a few of the students had never been there before so we had to watch a 15-20 minute firearm safety video. They had tables and seating available, and red The Range pens for you to use to fill out your waivers. The pens are a courtesy IF you decided to keep it. I got one. THANK YOU!!! The waiver is required annually so if you've done it once, you're good for a year. We enter the range and there was a Range Safety Officer (RSO) who gave us an additional briefing specific to the shooting bay. He was readily available to assist with any of our questions. One of the things that really impressed me, was their use of two-way radios. You're probably thinking, "big deal." It can be though. The front of the range was able to communicate with the RSO, and vice versa WITHOUT The need to vacate the range. This keeps an RSO on the range side at all times. Now you get it? The individual lanes are plenty spacious. The track system goes out to an impressive 33 yds, with easily identifiable markings for 3yrds, 5yrds, 7yrds, 10yrds, 12yrds, 15yrds, 20yrds and 25yrds. Great lighting too. As if this all of this wasn't enough, the icing on the cake is the staff. If you have a great facility and the staff is egotistical or condescending, it deducts from the overall business and the customer's experience. The staff were friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and informative. I cannot say enough great things about this establishment. This place is legit! We came in with a group of 30 and were blown away with everything! Upon entering you're greeted by an impressive shop that sells more shooting accessories than you can shake a stick at and has quite the selection of firearms! The range is split into two areas. The first firing range is for everyone and has around 12 lanes that are nicely equipped. It was a little on the warm side with 30 people back there, but it was also the hottest day of the year. The second area is in the back of the building and is a sort of VIP lounge. Equipped with a number of couches, a fridge, a couple tables, plenty of seating and most importantly - three private shooting lanes. They've got a number of membership options ranging from individual ones to corporate ones for bigger companies. The classes they offer are extensive and include basic intro and concealed carry classes all the way up to specialized defensive and laser site training classes. The place opens up a lot of great options for people in the area who are interested in learning to shoot or improve their shooting ability. Overall, this is an incredible addition to the area. Here's a one-stop shop for all your shooting needs? Look no further, check out the Range! In addition to an amazing shop area where you can get virtually anything you need, they have a shooting area where you can shoot virtually any type of gun! Rifles, shotguns, handguns, etc....you can probably shoot it here! Targets can go up to 30 meters, so this probably isn't the place to do long range sighting on your .50 cal rifle.....but it's a ton of fun for handguns and smaller rifles. If you don't own a gun, you can rent all sorts here....You can rent a fully automatic gun! There are 15 total lanes split into two different areas. 12 in the main area and another 3 in the private room. The private room will run you a fair amount extra (it's by the hour), but it's a cool setup if you have the chance. A couple things to know for someone who has never been here: 1. If you choose to rent a gun from the range, you will have to purchase ammo from the range. 2. shooting an automatic gun is cool.....but you go through a crazy amount of ammo in no time at all! It gets expensive quickly... 3. Only plastic bottled beverages are allowed in the shooting area. If you decide to get some coffee when you walk in (they have an espresso stand), you'll have to finish it prior to coming into shooting! 4. They have a lot of classes that you can take. I was told their basic firearm class & women and guns are their most popular classes. The range can get a bit expensive (such is the nature of shooting!), but this is the sort of place you would typically find in a major city, not Yakima. The Range is one of the best shooting range/gun shop/gunsmith I have ever been to. The customer service is awesome, everyone is knowledgeable and friendly (which is rare for gun shops if you have been around). The Range holds classes and action shooting so new shooters can learn the basics of safety and weapon handling and the more experienced can get a chance to get off the static line and shoot on the move in challenging scenarios! Their own policy trumps your right to collect the handgun that you paid for. RCW 9.41.092 sates that you can collect your handgun after ten business days have past from the time the background check was requested. I am sure the legislators in Olympia love FFLs that take matters into their own hands and infringe on your rights. I strongly suggest you go somewhere else. This is the only business I have ever felt strongly enough to dissuade others from going here. Just remember, they don't care about the law, they just want your money. The longer the gun is in their possession the more likely you will go in there like a sap and spend money in their range. I wish I could give zero stars. read more

Honestly can't believe what I just experienced. I brought my Glock 20 in yesterday to have my Trijicon HD XR Night Sights taken off and my XS big dot sights put on because of old man eyes. Austin is the one that helped me. Finished up and I was on my way. When I got home I noticed it looked like the rear Trijicon sight was taken off with a chisel. I went back today and was basically told to pound sand. He even admitted to not being careful when taking it off. It's not like they were stock Glock sights they were $185 sights. He said I don't see what the problem is you were taking them off. He also said he would've been a little more careful if he would have known before hand that I might reuse them. Wow! read more

It was awesome having a range master managing the lanes, I tend to have trust issues with other people so it was nice having someone to watch for safety. Here me out why I gave 3 stars before you attack me with some rude comments. The place is well-maintained and organized. They have a very strict gun safety policy which I really appreciate because even if you are a pro of handling/shooting guns, you still need some discipline. The employee that checks you in are nice and accommodating. However, at their store, the short blue eyed guy is just not set for a customer service job. I waS asking him some legit questions, but he just seems annoyed and didn't feel like helping me out at all. At the check out, he just handed me my card back and receipt and said "here's your stuff" without looking up, not saying thank you, no fucks given at all. I'm not an entitled person, but I think for a job like that or even a decent person would know how to say thank you for coming in. Maybe the management can talk to him and make customers feel welcomed. read more

Called for pricing on an accessory. I talked to a representative "Austin" claimed to be the owner. Austin said that the suggested price was $160 after I told him the list price from the manufacturer ( I called them) was $130 and his competition was at $120 he stated that the competition could not sell that low and he would report that to the manufacturer( seems odd you would do that instead of being competitive). After a few minute discussion he slipped and actually admitted the suggested price was $132 and some change from the manufacturer. He offered to drop the price to $149 but the principal of the whole deal... I couldn't do it. After catching him in a lie and upping the price It just wasn't right. read more

I am just learning to shoot and I can't say enough good things about the helpful employees. those guys in the back are just wonderful! I think they were as happy as I was with each successful shot. they showed me an easier way to load magazines, a better way to hold my Remington, how to aim with both sights, and how to follow thru. they were just amazing. BY FAR... the best range in the state of Washington! I had just recently finished building my first AR-15 and wanted a reputable place to test fire. I'm so glad I came here. It only made sense to shoot here since they have been such a tremendous help towards my rifle build. Heck, I brought my bolt carrier group, trigger group, charging handle, lower receiver, and gas block and tube (which they helped me put together, Thanks Guys!). Gun shop is well stocked, clean, and run by true professionals of the trade. They keep a good stock of both handguns, rifles and ammo (not to mention a huge selection of both AR-15 and AR-10 components). The range is top notch with the Range Officers being true professionals as well. The Range Officers truly go out of their way to keep the Range safe, don't hesitate to ask for assistance, they want to help as much as possible and are true gentlemen about it. Can't say enough good things about this establishment. Just about everyone I know that owns a firearm shoots here at the Range, and it's a no brainer why. In my experience, it's hard to find a good range to shoot at, but luckily I found the goldmine of ranges. I'll continue shooting here, no question about that. read more

They have everything you would want to purchase out front and if you can't find it they will order it. The Range in back has almost every weapon you could want to fire and all the ammo to go with it. Air filtration is top shelf, stalls are clean with plenty of room to work. They have some of the best ROs around, who are always avail to answer questions, help with technique and keep everyone safe. My partner and I were vacationing in Yakima but in addition to researching about vineyards we also looked into a rifle and pistol range. Being from New York access to such facilities is almost nil. I used to be a regular shooter before moving to NY and my partner had never fired a handgun. For both the novice and advanced shooter The Range is a great place to go. We went twice to The Range and had a great time. The staff was super helpful and instructive as well as patient. They focused on safety and respect for the power of firearms. There was a wide selection of handguns and rifles available for rental. Nice selection of targets as well. Prices were reasonable and we shot several boxes of 9mm and .45 caliber ammunition. I had the gun smith at the range build a rifle for me. I provided the action, barrel and stock. Those pieces were matched satisfactorily by the gunsmith J.D. Then I purchased rings and a base for the scope from them. All in all, I had spent at least a $1000 in their business. I was dissatisfied with the way the scope was mounted. It was set way too far forward and the scope was scratched by the gunsmith. I went back to the shop and asked them to redo the scope mounting job but I did not really complain too much about the scratched scope. They did do the remounting job, but then charged me for the work. I told them that even though they only charged me $15, that I believed that I should not be charged because they had the mistake and I thought they should stand behind their work. At this point J.D. became incensed and stormed out of the room. I paid the bill, as I had no choice. After all they had my rifle. I have been in business myself for 25 years, and I have learned to VALUE my customers. This business clearly does not value their customers. Even IF I was in the wrong (and I am certain that I was not), to lose a customer over $15 lousy dollars is a blend of incompetence and stupidity that is truly breathtaking read more
