But was very disappointed. Coming here made me realize why I stop practicing Catholicism. The priest starts a mass talking about politics. Why?!!!! I don't watch the news for a reason. This is suppose to be God's home, a place of prayer. Not a place to convince an audience of what is a right Vote or wrong one. Only God judge not a priest. The all the religious statues in the church make it seem like God and everyone in the Bible were white! Blonde and pale skin. Very uncomfortable for the minorities wanting to listen to God's words. Jesus was born a Jew and was far from pale skin or blonde hair. There should be an actual cross with no color to welcome everyone. Sadly I will never return to this church and don't recommend it to anyone. But I did come to talk to God to help me and those I love and he already heard my prayers because good things started to happened before I even walked out. Amen.. God loves everyone regardless of political opinions... God gave us free will for a reason to chose....

A fellow adult lady told her friend to put her phone away that she was there for a reason and then wouldn't even let the girls get up for water. United Church of Christ Fort Lauderdale also partners with many community organizations such as Out of the Closet, Poverello, Smarty Pants' annual Pet Project fundraiser, the KiKi Project and HIV Testing Center of The Pride Center, Gay Men's Chorus of South Florida, World AIDS Museum, along with many others. They are also passionate about social justice. I found out about United Church of Christ Fort Lauderdale when I stopped in for a yard sale raising money for their ministries. I love their inclusive message which aligns with my own religious beliefs.. Service is held Sunday mornings at 10:30. Ethnic diversity and friendliness are some it's surface attributes, but on the inside you'll find that it's a strong, bible-based church with loving members who are really seeking the Lord. If you really like to get deep in Bible studies, this is a good church for you. However, if your seeking a whole lot of contemporary, charismatic style, praise and worship, then Pompano is not for you. However, you should still check it out. I believe the positives far out-weigh any negatives. Check out their web site at PompanoBeachSDA.org for service times and so forth. Their online calendar seems to always be up to date so you can plan accordingly. Anyway, I always feel blessed when I worship at the Pompano Beach SDA Church. I'm Glad I found it.

I have been to several of such performances in different locations and each one has been a unique experience. It is very refreshing to watch musicians perform in such unique surroundings and if you have not attended one, you must. These performances include an array of music by different artists and i am certain you can find one that you like. I personally prefer Vivaldi's.

The Collins Quartet was entertaining and delivered every song with heart. The whole night was a celebration of two timeless icons. A stunning night in a stunning venue. Huge thanks to the whole staff who were all really friendly.
