I sought treatment for a chronic hip impingement that had ended my running and made basic movements, like getting into my car, nearly impossible. Through 24 sessions of dedicated physical therapy, Dr. Kate provided a comprehensive education on my physiology and a customized regimen of strength training and breathing exercises. The results speak for themselves: my strength and range of motion have returned, and I am pain-free. I tried many different plans and found Weight Watchers helpful once or twice, losing 10-15 pounds. I could never get below a BMI of 28.7 which is classified as overweight and unhealthy. I had high blood pressure, sleep apnea, low energy, painful joints and was several points away from receiving the diagnosis of Diabetes. After approximately 15 years of "dieting" without sustained results, I was thrilled to learn of the new weight loss medications. I did my research and joined the practice of Cara Fleming, NP and am delighted with my results. I feel energized (recently joined the YMCA with weight training) and no longer take any medications for high blood pressure. My sleep apnea has improved and my joints are happier. Additionally, my hemoglobin A1c (used to monitor Diabetes) is 4.7 which is amazing. I have had the pleasure of meeting both Cara, NP and Deirdre, NP for my visits. They offer the option of virtual visits. Easy! They are both professional NPs who have years of experience caring for acutely ill patients; making decisions under highly stressful conditions. They now work on preventing the illnesses that brought their ICU patients to the hospital. Both shared their weight loss journeys and understand the problems that obese people face. Their practice is truly a judgment free zone, focused on sustainable, positive change. As a fellow NP, I am very pleased with my experience. I am able to have a virtual visit when I can't visit the office. Cara and Deirdre ask the appropriate medical questions re: diet, exercise and how I am tolerating the tirzepatide. They advise on how to address any side effects and I know their recommendations are based on current evidence and best practices which are very important to me. I can't recommend them enough, to anyone looking for help getting healthier.

What sets her apart isn't just the relief she provides - it's that she actually explains the underlying causes of what's going on, so I leave each session understanding my body better than before. I've had "deep tissue" massages at plenty of spas and studios, and none of them come close to this. Linda has a genuinely exceptional grasp of anatomy and knows exactly how to target and release tension in ways I didn't know were possible. It's a completely different experience - more precise, more effective, and more educational than anything I've had elsewhere. If you're dealing with chronic tension or pain and want someone who treats the root cause rather than just the symptoms, I can't recommend Linda highly enough.
