My husband and I used the Photo Bus for our wedding reception back in August. The price was somewhat hard to wrap our heads around but seriously it was so worth it! Our guests had a grand old time, especially the kiddos at the wedding. Our reception was at my parent's house and the Photo Bus was backed into their driveway and was the first thing you passed to enter into the backyard. It was perfect! Chris was our attendant for the evening and he was incredibly polite even when some of our guests were a tad intoxicated and rowdy. Chris was a complete professional! Urge your guests to use the photobooth and be sure to tell them how long it will be there for so they don't miss out on getting a photo. It was really cool to be able to go online the next day and see all of the photos online. During the wedding reception you could also send the Photo Bus pictures to your phone instantly, so that was a nice perk. I would say to buy your own props if you have a specific theme in mind because the props they brought were pretty sparse and not really on theme with a wedding reception. I am so glad we went with this Photo Bus because we have a book filled with hilarious photo strips and awesome memories to go with it. We wanted our wedding to be fun and enjoyable for our guests, something different than your typical boring ceremony, bland reception and desolate dance floor. Knowing that all of our guests would love to have a few different activities, we decided a photobooth would entertain our guests and give them something tangible to walk away with. We were so pleased to find The Photo Bus listed as a recommended vendor on our venue's website, and instantly fell in love with both of their retro VW busses. After reaching out for a quote, we heard back from Scout and Nick within a day, and had a quote in hand very soon thereafter. We decided on the green double door bus, and everything was set up quickly and easily. Leading up to our event, Nick worked with us to determine the design of our photo strip, and Scout answered any questions that came up. I attended a corporate function at Petco Park. To my surprise The Photo bus was a vendor at this event. They took the fun idea of the photo booth and put a fun twist to the idea. Instead of getting in a photo booth, guest climb into a vintage VW bus and sit down to posse for 4 pictures. The bus had an assortment of hand held props. This was the best addition to our wedding! We were sad with how many guests never made it to the booth, but the ones who did absolutely LOVED it! We had a great interaction with the bus attendant (my brain is still in a daze and I cannot remember his name) and we really enjoyed the photo book with our guest's photo strips and messages! We were a bit disappointed to hear a few guests tell us that when our contracted time was over, they were told they could not take a picture because "his time was up." An amazing couple owns this business and we were lucky to have them be a part of our wedding this past October. Communication is quick and easy with them. They are so affordable as well. The customer service is above what we could have asked for! The week of my wedding I realized the times we had scheduled for the photo bus (after the ceremony and dinner service) it would be too dark for photos in front of the bus. They volunteered to come ahead of schedule to set the bus up so that we could take photos in front of the bus after we were married- probably over an hour than the original scheduled time. They were so easy to communicate with, let us customize the photo strip and let us bring our own props. They brought their 66' White 13 Window VW and it is a beautiful bus. They really took the time and effort to make it perfect for a photo booth, including their cute 'Photo Booth' marquee sign on top of the bus.
