I really liked dropping into Club Form during my stay in downtown Denver. It was super easy to get…read morea day pass, and very inexpensive too (although you do need to visit during "staffed" hours as a drop-in). Their selection of equipment, while not perfect, was pretty good - they have a few barbells and squat racks, rowers, dumbbells, and a ton of machines. The gym was fairly crowded when I was there, so I did have to share and wait for equipment a few times, keep that in mind if you prefer not to share. There's a small outdoor section if you want to work out outdoors. All in all, a great drop-in option in Downtown Denver!

Great gym with tons of lifting and functional equipment…read more I'm here in town temporarily and couldn't find a lot of options for a full fledged gym that wasn't themed in some way or a training/class gym. Also options opening before 6 am are slim downtown and this has 24 hr keycard access. This is small but has almost everything I need. It's actually amazing that they've managed to fit somewhere around 6 to 8 squat racks in this space. Every inch is utilized super well and it also doesn't feel cramped, there's still spacious indoor turf area, studio and outdoor turf for functional training. Only thing missing for ladies is an abduction machine and a glute drive/hip thruster. You can obviously hip thrust with a box/barbell set up, but I frequently am crunched on time and a glue drive machine really cuts down on set up. Clean equipment and clean facilities, towel service.

Body by Emilee - Personal Training for women

About a year and a half ago, after having three children followed by nearly two years of pandemic…read moreliving, I knew that I needed to change up my fitness and nutrition habits. After many, many search sessions, I kept coming back to Body by Emilee and finally took the plunge to set up my initial consultation. And now, I'd probably describe myself as a superfan of Emilee's. From the get-go, Emilee was really approachable, kind, and very easy to work with. We started with nutrition sessions, and while I was definitely not eating the most healthy diet, I never felt bad talking about my habits. Emilee's approach is a "sure and steady" way of looking at things. Instead of something drastic we were able to look at my habits and make small, consistent changes over the course of the past year that has served me really well. Plus, nothing is off-limits. Emilee believes in creating a sustainable lifestyle of nutrition and exercise. And I'm more of a "moderation in everything" kinda gal, so I couldn't handle someone telling me there'd be no more, oh, I don't know, fried chicken or champagne or cake. From there, I was also able to add personal strength training with Emilee two days a week. While the sessions are never easy, Emilee is always very mindful about how hard we are working and adjusting my weights or my exercises to have maximum impact on my goals. And working out with her is honestly just a ton of fun. Beyond the excellent coaching aspect, Emilee has built a solid community of women around her, both the folks she coaches as well as just the people she knows in the world. She hosts regular events for everyone who trains with her that span a wide variety of topics, everything from a session on learning to add meditation into your routine to a spin class. Every time I attend one of the events, I marvel at how much I genuinely like everyone that is there. For me, a number on the scale wasn't (and isn't) my ultimate goal, but I have lost nearly 30 pounds over the past year, and a half (all the Covid weight and most of the baby weight), but best of all is how strong and healthy I feel. My body feels really good, and I feel really good about my habits these days. Finding Body by Emilee was like finding a light at the end of the tunnel, and my sessions with her have been such a bright light in each of my weeks.

Emilee is a great partner and coach. She was an incredible addition to my health and wellness…read morejourney!  While I sought her out for some specific concerns (postpartum, overall health and wellness, etc.), she not only excelled in all of those areas, but I also consider her a key to my nutritional success. Spending time to talk about tailwinds and how to make small changes created a lot of change quickly for me. She checks in with you and creates a holistic plan catered to your needs. I can't recommend her enough!  I will continue to leverage her further as coach in the future, as her method is aligned to what works for me!

I told him it is quite expensive and I wasn't sure how long I could commint doing this due to financial reasons. He asked me how much I can do today and I put a $100 downpayment without signing any contract. We talked about a schedule for the sessions momentarily. I left feeling regretful and slept on it. I wrote him the next day that I don't want to purse things because the program was truly out or my budget. It is my first time inquiring about a personal trainer and I truly didn't know what to expect at all price wise. I felt a lot of pressure during my consultation and felt as I couldn't say no in a way. The consultation was very transactional and more of a sales pitch techinique. Nonetheless after telling Oberto I don't want to pursue the program and inquired about refunding the downpayment I gave him, he told me no refunds and offered that i can do a session instead and that is all. I told him that would be a uncomfortable and a waste of the both of our time. That is not right to take someones money as I refused to go with his program and told him it wasn't going to work out for me. Hard lesson learned for me as I basically gave him $100 for no reason. This has left an awful taste in my mouth and if i ever did want to seek personal trianing services in the future when I have the funds to do so it would definently not be with Oberto. For anyone inquiring please proceed with caution, this is probably exactly how he makes 90% of his money and it is extremley predatory behavior.

A few days after I posted my review the owner called me. He was pretty upset about his massage…read moretherapists performance, but at the same time was appreciative of the constructively negative review. He wanted to make it right. No one is perfect. I probably wouldn't have gone back, but I'm glad he called, because I had a completely different experience. The Noise: Steps were taken to reduce the noise level. If the noise level last time was a 10 (10 being bad), this time it was about a 2-3. Which is totally acceptable given the location. The Timing: Started on time. Admittedly, I was right on time, and should have been a little earlier. I don't think I even lost any time as a result. I think it went 5 mins over. A 90 min massage was a 90 min massage. Sweet. The Massage: It's hard to say it was the best I've ever had, because amazing massages are hard to compare. Everyone has their own technique. but I can say this confidently: It literally could not have been better. I think it's half about pressure, and half about technique and angle of approach to get to whatever muscle you are trying to get to. her technique was literally flawless. Every muscle gotten to, probably a few I didn't even know existed. She noticed a few abnormalities in my spine which are admittedly there, which is cool. No one has ever noticed or said anything before. Very in tune with the human body. Moved arms /legs/shoulders around to be able to really get after it. Lazy massage therapists don't do this because, lets be honest, a man leg weighs a lot lol. Massage therapist was Rebecca. Very highly recommended. The Management: Pretty obvious the owner cares about his biz. Apparently my review prompted some kind of F7 revolution. If this massage was any indication of how things will be going forward....you should definitely get a massage there. Pricing: Pretty reasonable. The place is in my apartment building, which means there is no annoying drive home in horrendous Denver traffic to obliterate your extreme relaxation. This is pretty huge. Driving home after a massage sucks. Totally awesome. I'll be back without question. Talk about a 180!! 5 Stars well deserved!

Ben King and all the instructors at F7 Lifestyles are freaking awesome! I'm always so impressed…read morewith their knowledge about the body, fitness, and overall wellbeing. My favorite part about training with F7 instructors is their attention to form and individuality. I've attended too many classes at other gyms where the instructors are all about weight and speed, paying no attention to form or personal ability. With F7 they always take the time to improve my form and identify any specific adjustments I need to make for my body, all while conducting a kick-ass class. There is the perfect balance of intensity and recovery. I also never feel uncomfortable working out with any of the F7 instructors, they are all sincere and genuine - making me feel that they are there to help and not to judge. I've also had the pleasure of learning more about health and wellness from working with Ben and his instructors. I absolutely love his holistic approach to wellness. Overall, I would recommend Ben and his team to anyone looking for a life transformation!!!!
