This course allows you to bring your own beer which is very nice and makes it way more affordable. Although they did charge a ride-along fee, can't complain too much though! I was so excited to come here because my boyfriends dad got a hole-in-one here, some years ago and I wanted to see his name on the wall!! Coming from a non-golfer but from working at a golf course for 6 years, I feel as though I can say the greens weren't great but definitely not the worst either for a public course.

As visitors, we were treated with a huge welcome by the bartenders and the patrons, given a free pitcher, and had pull tabs explained to us. But the track was wet because they watered it down. Fine, but they had all day to do that. No rain today. The worst part was when the guy running the show kicked someone out for asking about the late start. He made himself look like an idiot, to put it nicely. And I will not give him a penny more of my money.

Lovells Historical Museums and the Lovells Township Historical Society The success of the August 1990 Heritage Days Celebration gave birth to the Lovells Township Historical Society. We love the Shetler Family Dairy, and have been buying their milk for 10 years. We also love their…read moreyogurt smoothies and cream. We love that they do not homogenize the milk, which makes it healthy for the heart, the way milk is supposed to be drank. They also flash pasteurize to avoid killing off all the healthy nutrients in the milk. Store-bought milk is homogenized (very unhealthy for the human heart) and ultra pasteurized, which kills essential nutrients. Their milk tastes way better than the store milk I grew up on. Their chocolate milk is also amazing. I don't know if they still do the milk plant tours, but if they do, be sure to go on one. I remember years back, Kaleb Shetler showed a group of us how they process and bottle the milk. It was amazing. Each year they also have their Open Barn, which is amazing for the whole family. There is only one thing that I don't like, and that is their ice cream. I am an ice cream fan. Their ice cream used to be super gritty and I stopped eating it. Just had some recently and it is too dense and crystalized. I do, however, think it is good that they use fewer bad ingredients in their ice cream, which some other local dairies use. The ingredients list on their ice cream is shorter than others, which is a good thing. We will continue to support the Shetler dairy for as long as we continue to live in the area.
5 STARS!!!! WHY? BECAUSE IT'S AWESOME!!!!…read more I don't know why anyone would rate it any less than 5 stars. Where else can you get cream line milk in glass bottles fresh from the farm?!?!?! No, seriously, where? The place is small and their hours are 11-5, but if you can make it there they have amazing products and it feels like a step back in time to a place where things were a little more simple, a little higher quality, and a whole lot more delicious. They have other products as well. Cheese and meat. I mean, really, what else do you want out of a little Dairy Farm Store? I mean, other than girls dancing the can-can or a juggling clown, this place is one of my favorite stops on my way north. It's pricey, but so is a Mercedes and I don't see anyone complaining about that. You get what you pay for here. They also take American Express, which is a plus for a business traveler looking for a place to spend his daily per diem.

Super fun farm adventure. Their business was recently featured on a local news site, 9 & 10 news,…read moreso that's what brought it on our radar. Earlier this month we visited an alpaca farm. It's just a farm visit kinda month. You take this tour in a little buggy or orv. You visit the momma and young yaks, and then you visit the guys on a separate pasture. Fascinating creatures, you do get out of the buggy one time , but, sorry no petting of yaks occurs. However, you can feel their fur in the gift shop after your tour is concluded. Smart business model, 5$ tour lasts about 45 min to an hour. At the gift store you'll find knitted hats, yak socks, tshirts etc. Plus, yak burgers. My mother said they were good, very lean.
