Aside from her photography expertise, Monifa has exceptional interpersonal skills and her passion for photography shows through. She cares about the quality of her products and services and she cares about her clients. The result shows!! There was not a bad shot in the entire portfolio. I want them all. A good problem to have. I recommend Monifa without any hesitation, and I will use her for all my future photography needs.

Only 1 picture included me, my kids and our dog - it's of our backs!!!! The only picture of me and the kids - we look pale & blue. And after specifically requesting she not remove the birthmark on my forehead, she did anyway. And our dog is our family and not included!! When I complained & asked for a new session or more photos from our session, Ashley has not returned a call since! She will not answer the phone or respond to my many emails. Waste of money, after saving up for these photos, not one that I'd even being willing to print, much less hang on my wall. The 2 pictures below are the ONLY family pictures from our session, and a couple ok ones with just the kids. I have tried to contact her since February, since she won't respond, at least maybe I can save someone else from wasting their money! #RipOff

We signed up with The Marcel Photography for a Child Photo Session of our one year old daughter…read more Everything about this experience was difficult. Even deciding on a location that she would travel to was difficult. We asked that she bring some props and she brought one bucket. Our session did not go well as the bugs were incredibly bad, it was incredibly hot, and our daughter got spooked. This was to no fault of the photographer. However, our $500 hour long photo session lasted less than 30 minutes. She posted sneak peaks a week later on Facebook of our daughter crying with the caption "Sometimes things don't go as planned." We expressed unhappiness with the situation but the photographer said "All sales are Final" and she would not work with us to remedy the situation. We didn't want our money back, just possibly 15 minutes of her time to get a few more photos where our daughter was not so upset. She was unwilling to make anything right. So now we have $500 photos of our daughter crying and a few "not terrible" ones. If you are getting photos of your children taken, you may want to go with someone a little more flexible and understanding.

She kept in contact throughout my pregnancy and was accommodating when my due date changed several times to make sure we were able to get the pictures done within the baby's first week. It was such a relief to just show up without having to prepare outfits for the baby. She has everything you need and more. All of the outfits she has are great quality and look fantastic. Her instructions prior to the shoot were helpful in preparing the baby for the day and for the parents to coordinate their clothing to best compliment the photos. She is receptive to input from the parents and is there to help when you're having trouble making decisions. Her ability to work with a newborn child and manipulate his positioning for pictures was amazing to watch. She managed to keep our baby calm the entire time. Angie's talent is matched by her creativity. We are so glad we chose Bella Marie Photography to capture these precious once in a lifetime moments. Thank you for everything! They asked about my availability and recommended a gray background unless I had something else in mind. I scheduled my appointment for a morning session at their studio, which has its own small parking lot. My session was 40 minutes, including time afterward to select the pose I wanted. I appreciated the dressing room to fix my makeup and hair before the session. They had some hairspray, tissues, and hand lotion in the room. My photographer, Trevor, was friendly and professional and made me feel comfortable in front of the camera. He gave me great directions and helped me select the best pose. During COVID, he and other staff had masks on. The total cost was $150. I will receive a high-resolution image for printing and a low-resolution image for screens/internet by email. I can't wait! I've never had a professional headshot taken and I wish I'd done it sooner. I would not hesitate to consider this studio if you want a professional experience and product.

We just found out that our Corgi has lymphoma. Before he passes, we wanted to get some nice family…read morephotos to remember him by. We paid a family friend to take photos and I am truly sad that I actually paid for those. So I asked around for a professional photographer with a studio, as our youngest pup isn't fully vaccinated, and that was good with pets. Based off recommendations from friends, I emailed four photographers in the area and Tourine from Johnstone Studios was one of the first to respond in a timely manner. Due to the time constant, we didn't do the complimentary consultation, but just made an appointment for the photos on a Sunday afternoon of that week. She did ask what breeds of dogs they were, to make sure she'd have the correct background color ready. We showed up 15 minutes early and she met us at the door. Tourine was warm and welcoming to both us and the pups. Johnstone Studios is beautifully set up, both welcoming and professionally decorated. We went upstairs to a studio with hard wood floors and she went to work. She was extremely kind to the pups and knew how to keep their attention. Tourine had a great energy and the dogs fed off of that. I could tell that Tourine has experience with working with dogs, as she waved treats, talked to them, jumped around and used a train whistle to see what they responded to best. Our Crogi is a ham and loves to take pictures, but our new golden doodle has no concept of what's going on, so getting him to look in the right direction was taxing. After she was done, she checked with us to see if we had time to view the photos in their viewing room, or if we needed to go home for the dogs. They were both doing well, so we stayed to view our photos. Not only did she get a few beautiful pictures of our ailing Corgi, but pictures of the dogs together and one of the four of us. Everyone was looking, beautifully positioned and I will treasure these photos for years to come! Down stairs in their viewing room, we went through the photos on a big screen tv. We picked a package that gave us three of the photos we choose retouched and the digital rights for a very competitive price. My husband also ordered an Urban picture collage of our three pictures. Tourine was extremely low pressure when it came to selling additional add ons and even offered to leave the room so we could talk our choices over. Our digital prints came over retouched in three days and the photo collage we ordered should be here within a month or so. I am so happy with our family photos! Tourine did a great job and Johnstone Studios will be our new place for yearly family photos!

I wasn't even sure if…read moreI wanted a photographer there but now I can say it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Tamara is an incredible photographer and might as well be a doula who was there for me from 8pm until well after my baby arrived at 3:30am at the birth center. I love looking at the gorgeous shots in the video she made us and just crying at having those special moments so beautifully photographed by such an incredibly talented photographer. In addition, I also used her as a newborn photographer and she truly lives up to her title of "The Baby Whisperer." We were at her open, natural light studio for about 3 1/2 hours as she photographed my daughter with great care and patience, very careful to keep her warm, allow her to nurse as needed, and capturing every little detail I wanted to remember. What other photographer would let you have such an incredibly long session to make sure you have those memories? I've loved Tamara so much I've been back for 3 and 6 months shots, and I LOVE her holiday themed mini sessions! The Halloween ones were probably my favorite. She and her new partner Danielle (who is also really awesome!) work together to create several fun backdrops for each mini session so you have inexpensive, bright, memorable pictures from Christmas, Halloween, Easter, Valentine's Day, and more! After each event, the photographer duo sends a link to a Hightail.com folder where you can download the high quality photos from your session for 14 days. I really love this because I'm a military wife and both my and my husband's family are hours away. I can forward the download email right to them so they have access to all the pictures we received, in addition to a copyright email (in case the print place gives you a hard time). This is SO much easier than trying to burn a dvd or create a cloud folder for them each and every time. I know this is long winded but I just can't say enough wonderful things about my experiences with Bump Meet Baby Photography. They're a wonderfully talented duo and the studio is beautiful, open, and natural light. I LOVE the images and I love the experiences I've had. You will not be sorry for choosing them to document your pregnancy, birth, and life.

Considering we had no choice but to go with this company because the high school commissioned them makes it even worse. No exaggeration, expect to pay in the literal thousands of dollars for senior pictures that I would never ever consider paying for on any other occasion- and the packages make no sense as they do not provide near enough poses to even be able to buy their packages! At BEST this company has the same quality as a mall photo stand- and frankly that is insulting the mall photo stands. Truly atrocious. No customer service. Criminal prices for literally no quality.
