While asking here for a place for three the owners wife mentioned that they only gave tents 8 min away outside of the town lefz. As we were told that the tents are equipped with double beds and all other things you'd find in a hotel room and we've seen picture we decided to go for it. THE BEST IDEA EVER The tents are big enough for two people the box spring beads are extremely comfortable and I had a good sleep there. The site has a big kitchen tent with all you need a grill a fire place a hot shower and a water flushing toilet. I think this is the best place for a romantic night with your love. Next morning we had our included Welsh (!!!) Breakfast. It's pretty similar to the English bit it's served with black pudding which I don't like but it's cool to get something real local. Here we paid 30 Pound each as well but it was worth it and a really cool idea.

We were not disappointed, and while this is not a ultra modern house it is very comfortable and cosy. All in all the whole experience was excellent and I would recommend this place to anyone, older people to children alike.

For breakfast they offer a tasty choice far beyond the usual Full English. We loved the fresh home baked cake for us to take whenever we wanted. St Davids being a really small place and accommodations filling up easily make sure to book ahead. There is not a lot of parking space in town so it is very convenient that the B&B has its own parking space.

I had slow-roasted pork cooked in hay which was served with potatoes and cabbage: the meat was a little fatty, but tasty and a little different. Starters cost around £5-8, mains £13-17, sweets around £5. The rooms are clean, reasonably modern and well equipped with free Wi-Fi available in the bar and rooms. The service was OK, the car park is a reasonable with a large overflow car park.

We brought our own travel cot and the staff were welcoming and very chatty. The food in the restaurant was absolutely brilliant. Many exquisite courses of well thought-out, perfectly cooked, beautifully presented food, every course felt like a real treat, for both breakfast and dinner. We were very glad we got a package deal that included the dinner, it was well worth adding in. The view from our room was stunning, just as it looked on the website (well, a bit rainier, but to be fair it was January). It was only a very short walk from the back of the hotel to the coastal path. We couldn't fault Warpool Court one bit and will be looking for any excuse to stay there again.

Breakfast served on Denby plates, etc was cereal, followed by your choice from the menu (good choice amount), toast with jam/marmalade, tea/coffee, fruit was also on the table. You were allowed to take your key with you when leaving the premises. They have a folder telling all about themselves, what's in the area, also emergency contact numbers. The weather was wet & blowfly to go to the nearest pub so husband asked if okay to have some cans of lager in the sitting area, no problems. Would definitely recommend to people visiting the area. Sadie & Nigel Taylor run a working farm in NARBETH (The search engine could not find Narbeth when registering here, but found Haverfordwest?), which includes B & B, it is a 3 Welsh star standard. This was bought as a Anniversary present for my husband, but to share, decided it would be nice to stay elsewhere, not with relatives who live nearby. Proper mental gaff this. Part dilapidated. Part amazing view…read moreof the incredible beach below. Part hippy hangout. Whole lot of fun. It's off the beaten track that's for sure. And it's something of a higgledy-piggledy affair. Nothing matching here. Cork tiles covering some walls, barely any plaster covering others. But the whole effect is rather charming. A Mal Maison this is not. Nothing ubiquitous here. Or new. Or functioning quite how it should. The public areas are adorned with art work and brick-a-brack (that's the second time I've used that phrase in two reviews, must be something to do with Pembrokeshire) and there's a chaotic feel about the place. We had lunch in the dining room which had a slightly haunted feel, but I mean that in a nice way. Food was best described as home cooked and hearty. Warming and filling, nothing of finesse but all good stuff. Then we went for a walk in the garden. That's when you get the real charm of this place. It sprawls for ages and there are little nooks and crannies everywhere. A pond section with frogs and toads a-plenty (I think the owners have been busy licking those toads over the years) and beautifully tended beds full of overgrowing loveliness. Real romantic stuff. Walk down the garden and you get to a little bar which is situated below the dining room. It's a proper cubby hole. stone walls, low ceiling, plenty of people enjoying the view over the bay and drinking good local ale. You could hunker down there for a long afternoon turning into a long night for sure. And then of course there's the beach at the bottom of the cliff. We walked down at low tide and the whole thing was nothing short of stunning. Fine sand, imposing cliffs and rocks, pools for the kids to explore, horses to ride and not another person within 200 yards of you. Simply stunning. As an aside, the path that leads down to the beach has the wonderful sight of a Tellytubby house built into the cliff there. Turns out it's an actual house, rather in the Grand Designs mould, designed by the same company that designed the Media Centre at Lords. You can see the similarities. Really quite amazing. Back to the hotel for a mooch and a chat to reception who were ever so friendly and told me the place was booked throughout the year with people who come to gaze at the stars in the summer or brave the wind and cold in the winter. Rooms are all completely individual, some don't have bathrooms, some only a log fire for warmth. You get the drift. If you're after spas and mod cons, this place isnt for you. But if you're after long walks and a bit of a weird and wonderful time in a place full of character situated above one of the finest beaches I've ever seen, you've hit the jackpot.

Located in Pembrokeshire, roughly a two hour drive from Cardiff. Hammet House is a hidden must-visit Welsh escape. Built in 1795 by Sir Benjamin Hammet, the grade II listed Georgian house has the perfect mix of old and new, with a clear focus on modern luxuries, great service and ultimate relaxation. The 15 Bedrooms are packed with contemporary style and luxuries, with Egyptian cotton on the beds, marshmallow pillows you sink into, flat screens on the walls and indulgent Ren products in the bathrooms. In the bar and dining room you'll find cool contemporary spaces to unwind, relax, eat and drink in, all brought to you with their easy-going yet impeccable service. *Hammet House is recommended in the Michelin Guide 2015. My Highlights: The Room: We opted to stay in the 'Good' Room and it's difficult to believe there are two 'grades' above this. My highlights include: * The HUGE floor to ceiling windows that overlooked the grounds. * Super King Size Bed. * Marshmallow Pillows. * The discovery of a small parcel inside my teacup which unwrapped turned out to be home-baked Flapjacks. * Bathrobes * Ren Toiletries * Fluffily Soft Towels. Dinner and Cocktails: Prior to our dinner reservation we were given the option to have drinks inside the library bar. My Highlights: * As we sunk into the Chesterfield armchairs a friendly member of staff came to take our drinks order. We tried both the Mango Frostini and Raspberry Frositni - the kinda cocktails that don't taste anything like alcohol - the best kind. * We ordered our evening meal without having to leave the comfort of our seats and were shown the way to our table post cocktails and complimentary nibbles. * It's here (if able) I would use a highlighter, glitter and ALL other means of grabbing your attention as our evening meal was UNBELIEVABLE and most definitely the most impressive two course meal I've EVER had!
