The service was very good (which is not Dutch at all but much preferred!) but the bitterballen, well, weren't bitterballen. I was disappointed because I took my family here to try some Dutch treats but there was nothing Dutch on our table. The fake bitterballen were good, whatever they were, but the supposed sausage I got for my niece was a cheap looking hot dog, the fries had that fluorescent glow found in chemically enhanced frozen French fries, and the rice was inedible.
If I remember correctly the only Dutch beers were Heineken and Amstel. At any rate, the beer we got was good - and German.
Definitely not going back and can't recommend it, either. read more
