We came here on a Sunday morning just after 9. We were worried it would be a super long wait like most breakfast places on the weekend however we were happily surprised to learn the wait was no more than 10 minutes. The restaurant was full too so this was even better knowing we could get in with such little wait time. My son and I are big fans of country fried steak when we go out to breakfast so we were a tad disappointed to not see this or something comparable on the menu but oh well we can deal with it. My son ordered the cinnamon roll, my daughter ordered the crepes and I had a breakfast hash that had scrambled eggs, potato's, ham, bacon and was topped with hollandaise sauce. The cinnamon roll was massive. It was larger than the size of a side salad plate. It was clearly fresh made and topped with frosting and caramel. The crepes were really big and looked like a work of art. They were accompanied with a blueberry compote, whipped cream and sprinkled with granola. My hash wasn't a work of art like the other two but none-the-less it was delicious! Everything was super yummy and fairly priced for the portions. This was our first time here this morning with our daughter & her family, we called ahead to reserve a table which was nice and was seated within 10 min when we arrived, I had the biscuits & gravy which wasn't bad the biscuit had a more of a sweetness to it that I really didn't care for and the sausage just wasn't what I expected I tried my daughters French Toast and have to say it was delicious. We will return and try something different on the menu, I like to try the Biscuits & Gravy and Egg Benedict any were we go for breakfast as I personally feel those are my tester dishes. This was the best tasting breakfast I've had in a long time! People It was outstanding! First of all it was very nice going into a restaurant where no one was wearing a mask! Can I get a Hallelujah? Thank the Lord! We were seated and our orders taken right away. Food came out quickly, pipping hot and oh soo good! They offered traditional American brunch with large portion. The waffle came with pork sausage and scrambled eggs, topped with rich cream with fresh strawberries and banana. We came in this morning to eat & the hostesses told us we couldn't bring in a water bottle. Understandable if it was just us adults, but we have a 6 month old baby that drinks formula + water in her bottle. I tried telling them this & they insisted i still couldn't bring it in. So, you will either be losing customers or you need to train your hosts' to understand that babies/infants have health care needs that can't be satisfied from tap water or the soda fountain. This will be going on social media as well so my followers with young babies will think twice about supporting a business that refuses a baby drinking water for her bottle. This was our first time eating at this charming, cheerful restaurant. My ham, bacon, mushroom, & tomato omelet was very good, the English muffins were larger than usual and I really appreciated having tossed greens instead of potatoes. (Breakfast potato fans have that as an option). My husband's breakfast included the largest blueberry pancake I have seen. The waitresses were very attentive and efficient. Basic diner style restaurant with tables and booths and heated patio seating outside. Staff is friendly and we only had to wait 5 mins to be seated at 12 on Sunday! I ordered the tuscan scramble and Kale refresher juice. The scramble had plenty of ingredients in it and the cheese was nice and gooey. The eggs were ok but had that wet feel to them not sure if it was from the mixins or if they just weren't fully heated. The first few potatoes I picked up were ice cold but others on the plate were hot. The manager stopped by to check on our table and I asked him for another side since they were cold, and he brought them right out. The second batch was all hot and even had some crisp ones. Much better. The juice was delicious and crisp. Great way to add some healthy juice into the meal. Hubby ordered vive le France French toast. The brioche pieces of toast were nice and big. The batter had great flavor and the brioche was good it was just slightly undercooked and a little chewy. The bacon was crispy and seasoned well. We found this place by accident and kept saying "how have we never been here?!". Everything on the menu looked great! I had the crab cake Benedict with the dressed greens. It was SO delicious! My husband had the corned beef hash and mentioned "wow even the toast is good here". Our server was so friendly and even took extra notation that we had our youngest child with us by placing lids on her cup and bringing her food out first so she could get started. They also had a Q code on the receipt so you can pay with your phone at the table. Only bummer was they were out of cinnamon rolls. But we plan to be back again to try those! read more

Visited today for the first time, wife has been there a few times previously and has nothing but good things to say. I ordered the Mexican Skillet, This skillet has chorizo, potatoes, scrambled eggs, beans, and pork green chili. It was very good, and it's something I could have every time I eat here. Wife had eggs, bacon, muffins, and tomatoes on the side. She really enjoy eating here. We were seated as soon as we arrived. I enjoyed that we were able to talk to each other with out raising our voice as some of the other restaurants. Services was great, and very courteous. If I had any kind of concern. It would be the lack of covid protocol. With the rise going on, it would be nice to see this place take initiative and be proactive and not reactive. They have 2 different stands when you enter - the one you walk right into is for cashing out at the end of your meal; the one to your left (which you don't even notice because you head for the one right in front of you) is where you check-in for a table. Kind of weird set up. We were seated immediately and our sever came by promptly. The water bottle he brought had floaties that sank to the bottom, so.. that's kind of gross. The coffee was great! Our food was really fantastic. The bacon was cooked well - I HATE limp bacon and this was cooked very well. I did ask for Tabasco instead of the hot sauce they already had on the table. The bottle he brought had a significant crust around the neck right where the cap screws down. So - that was ALSO kind of gross. I came here for the first time last week after my daughters swim lesson. I have to say everyone was friendly, we got seated pretty quickly considering it was a Saturday morning! The kids menu had lots of great options, my daughter loved the gigantic happy face chocolate chip pancake she got! I went with one of the Benedict's which was pretty good but nothing stellar. The service was exceptional, we were checked on numerous times by our waitress, which I appreciated. When I left I realized they had some awesome seasonal items, that I wish I had known about (it was never mentioned and I couldn't see the board from where we were seated!) The waitress Megan was delightful, the food was delicious and fresh and the presentation, awesome. I know this place has been here for several years but we never tried it. We were told that although the name has changed , it is the original owners. Let me also say that even after being open for 3 or 4 years you could eat off the floors. There is no food splatter on the walls, and the tables and the condiments are pristine. We don't often eat breakfast but this little gem makes it worth while eating here at the very least weekly. Went for a great morning walk at Mansel Carter Oasis, what a beautiful morning! We decided to look for a new breakfast spot and found The Nook, a nice place on Queen Creek Road and Higley. Steff had the bacon, avocado scramble and I had the Texas steak skillet breakfast. Bothe had fantastic flavor combinations and were cooked perfectly. The servers were on point with their timing and very nice. The coffee was a bit weak but still had a good flavor and aroma 8/25/20: first time for lunch, nice Reuben and AZ turkey sandwiches. Relaxing atmosphere, inside or out. We enjoyed the outside today. They have very friendly and great servers. I'd suggest some chips with the Reuben.
