Selling a home after a family member passes away is always going to be super stressful, but my…read moresituation was especially difficult because the home my late uncle owned in Vegas was co-owned by my ailing grandmother, and I was out of the state trying to manage her care. From the moment I reached out to him, Tony (and, later, his associate Rachael DiPietro) made the homeselling process incredibly smooth, keeping me in the loop at each step of the way, instantly responding to every question I had, and making sure to look out for our family's best interests. After a couple phone calls, I met him in person when I flew in to Vegas to move some things out of the home, and he checked every box, just a genuinely smart, knowledgable person. He went above and beyond at every step, hiring the contractors to clean the home, handle landscaping, and photograph it for sale. He literally got on his hands and knees with a bottle of Goo Gone to remove a bunch of carpet tape marks left in the kitchen! Who does that?? As for the sale, we ended up with multiple bids right away and it closed above asking. Except for one notary signing, everything was handled remotely and digitally, which was exactly what we needed at this difficult time. I don't know how it could have gone any smoother. Incredibly impressed, I can't recommend him highly enough.

Highly recommended!…read more Shane acted as my listing agent and worked efficiently to get my house sold and efficiently helped with navigating any issues that came up. He was always a quick message away and his effort and dedication was evident from the beginning. He helped with multiple issues that came up including negotiations and repairs. But most importantly, he was honest and considered my best interest in the decisions he recommended, which the other reviews here will also attest to. I actually found Shane through Yelp and am very happy that I made contact. I know who I'm going to the next time I have a real estate-related issue.

I was amazed how quickly he was able to get both transactions completed. The condo was listed at the end of January and in a couple of days we had a firm buyer. This was in a building that had similiar properties that were on the market for weeks or months. Ours was in contract in a few days and closed 3 weeks later. It was the fastest sale of a property that I've personally experienced in my life. Once we had a buyer, Shane focused on helping us negotiate buying another investment property. We found a house in Henderson. The house had just been listed and by the time we were able to get an appointment to tour the house (Feb 10) there were 4 or 5 other interested parties. We liked the house and Shane advised us what to bid. Then we waited, but Shane was working behind the scenes negotiating with the seller's agent. With his skills, he was able to get the seller's agent to accept our bid over the others. It didn't stop there. Once we got the appraisal and inspection reports, Shane was able to get the seller to agree to the lower appraisal amount, saving us thousands off the asking price. We closed escrow about a month after our initial tour of the house. Shane coordinated and negotiated everything for us. Even worked with the lender that I had chosen. He certainly made both transactions go smoothly. We wouldn't think of working with a different agent when we're ready to buy/sell property.

We had a great experience here, overall, as we were dealing with (1) the sale of our former home…read moreand (2) the purchase of our new property. Yes, it was a coincidence that this was the title company for #2, but since it was the same company, just a different branch (95/ Rainbow), the docs could be emailed and inter-delivered between the two branches. This location was a more convenient location from our new property. My husband was able to sign docs here and pick up final docs (part one). I did the same thing at another time (part two), too, by coming straight from work. It worked out great. The lady up front, by the name of Libby was super nice and extremely helpful---she is an asset to the company (being the front line, the first person to deal with customers, it makes a lasting impression). It is a stressful time (selling and buying), so when you come across people that put you at ease, it is a great example of customer service at its best. She offered to stay later though the office hours ended at 5 pm. I got there before that time, but we were really appreciative, that she would go the extra mile for us (we tried going there early before I went to work, but there was some miscommunication about the time the docs would be ready there). Quite a few other businesses here, and there is a rather large parking lot in front of the property. The way that we went there (around the corner from IKEA), was one way, and to exit was sort of one-way; hope that this doesn't sound confusing, but it's hard to explain. In other words, you couldn't head there, the way, we exited. Maybe it is different, coming from a different direction, I don't know. Professional, thorough, great customer service, and nice staff, just to reiterate our experiences here.

Unprofessional and Obstructive - Avoid Pati Walter My…read moredaughter had an incredibly stressful experience with Fidelity National Title, specifically with Pati Walter. As a neutral third party, her job is to facilitate a closing, but she instead tried to jeopardize my daughters mortgage because of her own ego. A title agent should be an asset to a homebuyer, not a liability. Since we have the right to choose our own title companies, save yourself the headache and request anyone other than Pati Walter, or better yet, take your business to a title company that values professional conduct. Formal complaints have been filed with Fidelity management and the Nevada Division of Insurance.

Great in every step of the process. Longer: when I was looking for a house, I contacted Steve letting him know I was serious about buying. He asked for some initial paperwork and was able to get a pre-approval letter to my agent quickly so that I could make offers on a house I wanted. With his many years of experience, he knows what the lenders are looking for and the likelihood of approval at a certain amount. He was honest with me about my buying potential and was able to be flexible in the pre-approval letter to tailor to the offer. Then when the offer was accepted, he set up an appointment to go through my options. Steve was able to explain all of the numbers and make sure there were no hidden fees or other numbers I didn't understand. He went through all interest options and showed me competitive rates (I compared to an agent at BofA and Steve was competitive with better service and explanation). He explained how the interest worked and the historical fluctuation so that we could lock in a good rate. because of him, I was able to lock in a lower rate before they jumped up with the volatility of the stock market. He saved me thousands of dollars. Then once we locked the rate, he was hands on through the entire process to make sure that the lender approved my application. I was able to reach him anytime thought txt and phone, if he was busy he would call usually within a few hours. In my case, there was a question regarding the square footage of the home, and he made sure the appraiser verified the area. He was a great champion to make sure I was approved. Any paperwork that was needed, he worked with me and gave me many options on providing the information. Through the buying process, Steve was in communication with my agent to make sure the process was going smoothly. Again, with his years of experience, he was able to ask questions regarding the buying process that I would not have thought of, and he did it in order to protect me. When the load was approved, he went through me the numbers again to make sure I understood everything for closing. Once closed, he reached out again to see how it was and make sure everything was still good. Even after his job/portion was complete, he continued to communicate to answer questions that came up, like regarding homestead or weekly vs. monthly payments and the letters I received regarding adjusting my payments. He was great from beginning to end and I would highly recommend him to everyone.

Throughout the entire process, she made me feel like I was her only client, even though I know she has many. One of the biggest surprises was when I ran into problems obtaining homeowners insurance through Travelers. Maryann immediately stepped in, recommended another insurance company, and helped me secure coverage that not only solved the problem but also saved me approximately $900 per year. She was always available whenever I texted or called, and whenever an issue arose, she addressed it immediately and stayed on top of it until it was resolved. That kind of responsiveness is rare. As a retired Human Resources Director, I've spent my career evaluating people and recognizing exceptional talent. When I find someone who is intelligent, highly competent, proactive, and truly gets things done, that's the kind of professional I want to work with. Maryann is exactly that person. I also want to recognize her broker, Craig Tann. He is fortunate to have Maryann on his team because she represents Huntington & Ellis with professionalism, integrity, and outstanding customer service. I would not hesitate to recommend Maryann to anyone buying or selling a home in Las Vegas.
