Kind of pricey for merchandise and rentals. Selection isn't very good.
Rented a paddleboard from this shop so I could go paddleboarding and paddle-surfing at the nearby beach. They charge $20/hour, or $40/4 hours. Obviously, most people use it for about 2 hours anyways, so effectively it's $40 anyways.
There was only 3 board to choose from and the paddles were really bad, and rusted out so you can no longer extend the handle. The young woman working at the shop was nice, but the male store manager was not nice, impatient and not helpful at all. I had no choice but to rent from them because none of the other surf shops had paddleboards.
I asked for the wifi passcode just to sync my email real quick, they gave it to me but after 5 min, they turned off the router so I couldn't use it anymore. Talk about passive aggressive.
Do NOT rent from here, there's a much better surf shop across the street if you want to just rent surfboards. On a small day, I would recommend just renting a long surf board instead! read more
