After suffering a heart attack, taking time off to recover, and relocating, I've been struggling financially and haven't been able to pay the monthly fee required to continue seeing Dr. Cranney. I've been trying to renew my long-standing prescriptions for high blood pressure and depression--medications that are essential for my well-being. Despite explaining my circumstances, the office refused to refill them. I understand policies and procedures, but this felt cold and irresponsible, especially given the critical nature of the medications. I followed their recommendation to contact the CHAS clinic, but the first available appointment isn't until the end of June. I was then transferred to the hospital's follow-up department, but they were unable to help. At this point, my only remaining option seems to be urgent care, just to access the medications I've been stable on for years. I'm deeply disappointed by how this was handled. I believe patients--especially those dealing with serious health issues--deserve more compassion and flexibility. I hope sharing my experience helps others understand what to expect.

He took great care of my husband; my husband and Dr. Cranney have similar senses of humor so they also genuinely liked each other. The office staff is always friendly, courteous and very helpful. When I needed insurance information and was out of town, I called their office to see if they had the details I needed. Initially, only a portion of the information was found; I received a call a few minutes later from their Office Manager who had gone back into my records and found what I needed. Talk about going above and beyond!

ATTENTION: If you ever receive a Vaccine Injury from Kaiser, make an appointment immediately, then…read morewithin 50 days reach out to a Federal Attorney that specializes in SIRVA injuries. Kaiser will do everything like in my case to delay the situation until it is too late. They also didn't document my initial complaint and office visit when my stiches were removed. Because of this, I am not eligible for a federal vaccine program that they should have recommended to me instead of putting me off and not fulfilling the record of my initial complaint. They also promised to pay for an X-Ray and office visit which I am now being billed for. This is borderline malpractice. The worst care I have ever received. I came in to have my toes stitched up after an injury. They said I needed a hand surgeon to repair my injury and sent me off to the Emergency Room. Unfortunately, before I left, they gave me a Tetanus shot. It seemed like it was the first time the person had ever administered a vaccine because the other 2 caregivers in the room cheered weirdly. The shot was injected too high on the arm causing a SERVA injury (Shoulder Injury Related to Vaccine Administration). Even though my toes have healed and I didn't need a "hand surgeon," 7 months later I still have the shoulder injury. Kaiser Permanente doesn't seem to care. I have basically been ignored. My first complaint was taken from someone I could barely understand in Manila, Philippines. Kaiser promised to investigate and get back in contact with me in 30 days. This did not happen. I have made 3 calls to Jennifer the facility manager and she has not returned my calls. I contacted the Department of Health only to find out you can't make a complaint to them because for some reason they don't have jurisdiction over this facility. My paper work from the incident doesn't show which physician or physician assistant was present nor which staff member administered the injection which injured me. Was hoping to have this addressed quickly so that others aren't injured or have a similar problem. If you need care, I would steer clear from this location because from my experience they don't seem very well trained, professional or caring.

Other than that they will always tell you you're fine and are very rude when you ask questions of any sort. They do not want to hear your questions and will always rush through your time with them. My biggest problem was I asked them to do a POTS test on me(postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), and they did and confirmed I probably had it. So I called and asked for a note to give to my work because I tend to faint a lot or need to sit down briefly to avoid fainting, and wanted to let them be aware of my confirmed issue. They were very rude and told me they would put in a request from the doctor, but never did. I didn't even bother to call again because they are always rude over the phone.

We have been having to pay co-pay for 2 of baby's well visits. I talked to a receptionist and was told it was our insurance that is charging us since there should not be any co-pay for well visits. Then I talked to the insurance and they told me it's the clinic that coded as an office visit instead of a checkup. It happened twice and started to feel personal. We will probably change the clinic unless the doctor comes back by the next checkup. -UPDATE My wife and I went to an annual preventive checkup since our PCP came back from maternity leave. We were surprised by bills from Chas AGAIN. Our insurance should cover 100% for one annual checkup for each individual. We talked to Chas and they told us our well visit turned into "diagnostic" once we answered questions the doctor asked. We were unaware and feels like being tricked into. We only answered what our doctor asked and there were nothing special the doctor did except giving us a tdap (which was covered by our insurance.) Their practice seems morally wrong and unethical. It even seems fraudulent. We will be seeking formal complaints against the facility.
