But what I saw literally seemed like they were working for the other team. I have ZERO legal experience and could have done a better job than the attorney in the case I was witness to. He literally didn't even read the documents or notes before the meeting. I was in shock at how unprofessional and unprepared he was. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THEIR ADS! They are not on your side at all! I have to edit to add that I just read the ONLY good review of this firm that stated the attorney was so good that she made the opposing council look "dumb and unprepared." Well that's exactly what this guy looked like! He was the epitome of "dumb and unprepared!" So wish there was more than one attorney at this firm that actually knows how to do their job!

My attorney Clayton Morgan was an absolute disgrace. I contacted Cordell's internal Client Care department who handles issues with billing and your attorney...and it was a joke. They take forever to respond, they will have your attorney's back even when they are in the wrong, and will not refund you regardless!! I reported Clayton for price padding times on my invoices and for complete lack of transparency on the times that were billed to me with their BS descriptions on the work that was completed. Sarah Dotson, Laura Grimm, & Stacey Carlton with the Client Care dept all were handling my disputed charges with Cordell who were clueless and not helpful. You would hope their internal investigation dept would be more thorough and transparent, but not at all. Long story short, the stingy 'managing partner' of the Indianapolis Cordell branch was 100% in favor with my crooked attorney Clayton Morgan for what he did to me. There wasn't going to be s single possibility that a good resolution would come from this because the 'managing partner' is as crooked as their attorney's at this branch!! This company has a horrible reputation for treating their customers with lack of respect, transparency, and price padding. I ignored the honest reviews and hired them because I thought what everyone else though...big company for men and why not sounds great. Listen, just because they are a big company with a flashy website and they heavily advertise for me, it's a scam to just pay way more than what you should be paying. I spent over $4,500 before I even got to mediation...and he argued with me daily. I fired these crooks before mediation and found a smaller more reputable firm. WHATEVER you do, do NOT hire Cordell or even give Clayton Morgan the time of day. Because anyone in this company like Sarah Dotson, Laura Grimm, or Stacey Carlton who are suppose to be on your side, will throw you to the curb. Their internal investigation dept is even more crooked and will not fight for the customer and I encountered this firsthand. No matter what happens, Cordell will ALWAYS be on the side of the attorney and not you!!! You have been warned!!! Give it less than 10yrs, and this Indianapolis branch/company will be investigated by the feds, just watch! Cordell is dishonest and truly lacks what people need for a legit divorce firm.
