They're VW Audi specialists, but they still don't seem that upmarket. Of course, from a garage you need them to be good at fixing cars, not customer service, but the whole place still seems a bit dirty and 'matey'. Still, they did the tyres in a couple of hours (longer than they said they would, but it was still pretty quick) and the price was apparently quite reasonable, especially for central Oxford. You can see them working on the cars, which is always reassuring and strangely hypnotic to watch. The entrance isn't at all obvious, but just drive into the warehouse-style building, park up and someone will come and help.

Within half an hour of arriving at the garage the problem was accurately diagnosed and as the spare part was unavailable, a temporary replacement part was fashioned from spares - what mastery! I am happy to say that the car now runs beautifully. The mechanics were very friendly and we discussed the car throughout the job; I felt extremely satisfied with the level of service, so much so that I have booked it in for another unrelated electrical fault on Monday. Honest, reliable and friendly, thanks Auto Technic for a wonderful service.
