We found This big mural featuring birds, flowers and a variety of colors while driving around looking for the old national events plaza where my daughter was going to have a cheer competition later that night. We actually passed up the building and was going to turn around at the McDonald's when we spotted This piece. As you walk into the alley you will see the three murals side by side and a staircase. The first mural you will see is a "welcome to Evansville" mural. The second mural is the awesome and vibrant "neon lights" mural and lastly you have the cleverly named "Ready or Dot!" Mural. All there murals are fantastic and well done. They make for a perfect photo op or as the alley insists a perfect selfie. My personally favorite of the 3 current murals is the neon lights mural. It was my favorite mural I came across on my short trip to the city of Evansville. Overall very cool, fun and clever thing to have in the city. Me and the family always enjoy discovering public art when visiting towns. And self.e alley provided easy access to three really good murals.

My family and I were in town from Louisville visiting the plaza for my daughters cheer competition when we came across This curly looking mural. There isn't any signage about the piece giving a name or an artist. After a deep dive google search I discovered the name of this piece is called "the worlds largest" and was created by artist John McNaughton in 1975. Overall a solid and cool sculpture. The family and I always enjoy finding public art when visiting cities. Be nice if they had a placard on this piece describing its name and artist. Also I'm very curious as to why it's named "worlds largest". Worlds largest what?

The Roseanne house may be one of the best kept secrets of Evansville Indiana. It is in fact the…read morehouse used for the classic late 80s/early 90's sitcom "Roseanne". My family and I was in town from Louisville for my daughters cheer competition. Whenever we visit towns we like to check out public art and unique or obscure places in the towns. Deep in a Google search I discovered the Roseanne house was in evansville. How cool is that? I loved this show growing up. I couldn't wait to get This page added to Yelp and share my experience. It is very much an active and lived in house. It does not offer tours which is fine because the show was shot in a studio audience. So the outside of the house is all that was ever used. So you get your photo ops from the street level. To respect the current owners policy we stayed across the street. A few other people did the same. This house is located on a side street right across from Evansville university. I'm not sure the connection to the show and this house in Evansville but it was a cool trip down nostalgia lane for me. Overall very cool and fun find and an easy few minute place to check out. Lastly, I wonder if this house goes all out on Halloween decorations? How cool would that be? Roseanne show had the coolest and best Halloween episodes that I still love to watch every October.

My family and I were actually in town from Lousiville for my daughters cheer competition and we was checking out the main street area for shops and public art when we looked left and saw this massive hard to miss blue and yellow mural with the words Evansville plastered across it. So me and my oldest made the short journey and walked over to check out Thai gigantic mural up close and take a photo op. Overall very cool and vibrant piece. This small two block radius of Evansville has some unique and cool public art to check out.
