The pub is clean and modern with a good selection of beer on draught and the inside seating is mainly wooden benches. In the winter there is a fantastic log fire, ideal for warming up around after a walk along the sea wall, that is if you can get anywhere near it!

The hotel is very near the ferry terminal for Isle of Wight ferries and a short drive to Lymington itself. There's a nice pub though on the way to Lymington (called the Waggon and Horses?).

This is a true farm to table restaurant. We enjoyed a long leisurely lunch that included the 'piggy and fishies' tray, homemade warm bread, cauliflower soup and fish and pork chop mains. Absolutely fantastic meal with wine pairings. We then retired to the lounge for coffee and a bit of a rest before the journey home. A+!
