I never stated anything about whether your facility was is compliance with state licensing regulations, which are the bare minimum requirments for all licensed child care facilities and nothing to be bragging about. You say things like that your policies are "clearly communicated," with no such explanation of what you mean, when I provided factual details and pages of "critical context." You have now accussed me of "repeated concerns regarding hostile communication and ongoing disruptive interactions with staff." For the prospective families reading this, I implore you, Ms. Peggy, to define what your definitions of "hostile communication" and "ongoing disruptive interactions" and "combative" are. I also give you permission to state what dates and claims about me you are even referring to, but make sure to to include "critical context" without being "inaccurate" or "misleading" when doing so. Parents need to be aware that you were never around during the incidents I described, so you have no basis for knowing whether anything I described was inaccurate. I asked a lot of questions that your staff didn't like and 1st I was called "rude" for it and now that I documented my experiences, you are trying to label me "hostile." Shame on you. This is basic mean girl bullying and the wrong way to respond to a review because it is not 5 stars.

She really came through for us when we needed day care a couple of days a week during the summer for our 1 year old. I want to note it was a schlep for us to get to Tarzana from Sherman Oaks, but well worth it given our experience. Dali is warm, loving, highly experienced, and cares deeply about children and their families. I felt so comfortable leaving our baby with Dali each morning and when we requested photos or updates on how she was doing Dali would promptly text us. It is difficult to find high quality childcare and I was very impressed with the calm and family like atmosphere Dali has cultivated. She keeps the environment and materials exceptionally clean. The children adore her and her assistant and one another. I can't recommend her enough and I do to every parent who is in need of daycare in the valley.

She and her staff were like extended family to my girls; it takes a village and trust me you want her and her team as part of your village. My oldest started at 18 months old and my youngest at 5 months old. My girls both adore her and have benefitted immensely from being under her care. Both of them always looked forward to going there every morning. She even helped with potty training which, as you parents know, is a challenge! She was patient with accidents, reassuring us when we got understandably frustrated, and was an immense help in that department. When my oldest started, it was during the pandemic and she had been out of a day care setting for months while everything was locked down, so needless to say she was somewhat difficult since we couldn't really socialize much with social distancing in place. Dali was patient, caring, and understanding with her and helped my little girl adjust to socializing with other children and learning boundaries and discipline in a respectful way. Once she adjusted, she thrived under her care. Prior to starting TK, she knew her letters and numbers and even writing her own name! I was always kept up-to-date on her progress and growth, alerted to any concerns regarding behavior and/or illness, and provided with advice and/or reassurance when facing developmental challenges (at the time, as a first time parent, this meant the world to me). She did this with both of my girls and gave me such great peace of mind when they were under her care. Both my girls were there at the same time at one point when they were too young to start school and she handled them wonderfully. Socializing with new friends, eating nutritious foods, waterplay days during summertime, playtime with fun toys, arts and crafts, games and story time, Dali's day care has it all in a spacious and cozy home that feels like a second home for your kiddos. Like I said, I HIGHLY recommend her day care! :)

Our son was at Tiny Thinkers for over 2 years or so - There are definitely things Tiny Thinkers does well, which is why we kept him at the school -- our son did progress in life skills, for example like potty training, He did learn, the kids seem happy overall, and the campus itself has potential to be fantastic. There's a lot of heart here, and when things are done right, the children benefit from it. That being said, there are areas that really need attention to match the tuition and expectations. Communication and accountability with the teaching staff could be stronger, particularly when it comes to child care knowledge and day-to-day standards. We've had to remind them multiple times about basics like keeping the kids clean and presentable, which has led to several "coaching moments. Cleanliness is another point that could use consistency -- not just the facility, but the children's appearance at pick-up. The school would benefit from investing in more training for teachers -- not just in child development, but in creating an overall experience that parents love, not just tolerate. When teachers are well-trained in both child care and parent communication, it builds confidence so families can feel secure and supported without the need for constant follow-up. Parking can also be frustrating. Without a reasonable grace period for pick-up, parents can feel penalized for situations that are sometimes beyond their control. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because there's definitely room to grow. The foundation is here -- the school just needs to buckle down on these operational details to truly deliver the level of care and professionalism families expect. I realize I'll probably get a diplomatic response to this review from the school director, but this isn't about diplomacy -- it's about truly hearing the feedback and using it to make changes. Just because something has always been done a certain way doesn't mean it's the best way. The goal should be to evolve and improve, not to explain away why things are the way they are.

I also love that there are a variety of race and ethnicities there for her to play with which is helpful for when she transitions to Elementary school. She looks forward to going every week and didn't have that attitude towards her daycare AT ALL. Definitely recommend Tiny Thinkers.

She has such a great disposition for working with his age group. She allows him to explore and be himself, but always takes time to acknowledge him personally, coaches him on good behavior, and treats him with dignity. We're so grateful for her! Little buddy was meeting all his cognitive milestones before starting, but in the past few months, he's far exceeded development standards for talking, counting, and general skills. The Montessori model has worked so well for us! (They taught him how to brush his hair, put on his shoes, pick up after himself, hold eating utensils, and drink out of a cup -which he refused to do before going. He now picks up all his toys at home no problem!) We love the Brightwheel app that they send us updates through, and they schedule so many nice enrichment activities. This place is worth every penny with how much they've given our baby. Our little guy feels so seen and loved just the way he is, and he's flourished so much with his friends here. My two older kids that are now in public schools will still ask to go for the day any chance they can get. Literally , this Monday they are all going because schools are closed for thanks giving and the preschool is open. Which is another great thing.
