Buyers beware - Single-day validity & de-prioritized entry! I purchased the all-inclusive Go City pass for a family of four for £357, which claims access to 107 London attractions. My mistake was missing the fine print - the pass is valid for one calendar day only, not even 24 hours. On Day 1, we tried Westminster Abbey at 1:30 PM but were turned away as they prioritized direct ticket holders over reseller passes like Go City. We managed to get on the London Eye at 5:30 PM, but on Day 2, at 9:00 AM at the Tower of London, we learned the pass had already expired! How can anyone visit more than 1-2 attractions in a single day, let alone 107? Spending £357 felt like throwing money down the drain. Some attractions even de-prioritize entry for reseller tickets like Go-City, as we experienced. You're better off booking directly with attractions rather than dealing with these misleading resellers. read more

We only had time to visit one site because lines were so long. We felt safe booking the pass because of all their guarantees but the guarantees only come into play if you make it to at least 3 attractions. I sent a request for a refund of the price difference (per the guarantee on their website) and received a dismissive auto-reply rejecting my request. Save your money and buy tickets for attractions directly. read more

Honestly one of the best things you can buy if you ever visit London. You pay around £100 for £400+ worth of attractions and experiences. When you buy it they give you a booklet and basically all experiences in that thick pamphlet is free for you tor at a reduced price. I decided to buy it for the 4 day pass as I was in London for 8 days. Some of the more notable attractions the Pass included were St. Paul Cathedral, The Shard, London Tower, City Cruises, and a whole lot more. Most of these attractions allow you to bypass the people who are standing in line purchasing tickets as all you need to do is scan the barcode on the card. Bonus points as it comes with a lanyard with the card attached to it. Highly highly recommend if you are ever visiting London. Fast, easy, and super convenient! read more

I can tell you one thing, if you decided to go to London and do not have any set itinerary, this is how you do London on your rules. If you are like me and decided to go to one of the busiest cities in the world with no other reason other than to go, but you still wanted to be able to do just about anything you wanted without constraints, look into this prior to your departure. I had had many discussions with peers about going to London. I listened to them but more so to the ones that had actually been to the city and experienced many of the historic sites spread across the great city. One thing that popped up a lot is that I needed to look into the London Pass. Not knowing what it is and a somewhat sparse description from those peers, I headed to their website. It is very straight forward and honestly for the money you will be paying, a great deal. Ordering your London Pass beforehand means that you will have it at the ready for when you show up, also take the time and spend the little extra money to have it for your arrival. This pass will pay itself off within a day of using it. It got me into attractions all over the city, some I even got to jump the line at and experience what I wanted at a faster pace. The pass not only offers entrance to attractions, but tours, whether it be by bus or boat. Discounts on theater tickets. And if you download the accompanying app, you will get up to the minute updates about things happening in the city. A few little tips here too, when you purchase your London Pass it is a good idea to purchase your Oyster Card as well. That way you have that at the ready so you can start using it as soon as you arrive in London for all your travel needs. Use your guide book that accompanies all this, it will be really helpful to you. This guide tells you the hours, location and every other little bit of information you are going to need to know about wherever you are visiting. Another add on you can purchase is the Dining Guide. Not really that useful if you don't study your whereabouts. I purchased it for the extra ten pounds, but didn't end up using it. The one thing that I did not like about the London Pass was the amount of days that you could purchase it for. You can do one, two, three, six or ten days. For me three would have been good, but I had to purchase the six day pass. Why, because I had a side trip purchased that would have made me miss a day of the three day pass purchase, so even though I wasn't going to be there for six days, I had to purchase the six days. I know that sounds like an unwarranted complaint, but once you start using it, the clock is ticking. The company that provides the London Pass also have passes for other cities, Paris, Berlin and Las Vegas to name a few. Definitely look into this if you are just going to be a tourist. read more

My wife and I were planning a trip to London in early 2020 and we bought 2 London Passes. When the Covid pandemic hit we had to cancel our plans. We got refunds from everybody...airlines, rental cars, hotels...but not from London Pass. All they did was extend the expiration date another year. That wasn't enough since Covid hung around longer than that. We finally got to London in September/October 2023. Before going, I contacted London Pass (twice) and asked if they would do something in the way of customer service for our trip. They didn't even show us the simple courtesy of responding. Pathetic. read more
The London Pass ... as with the Paris Pass, Barcelona Pass, New York City Pass, and all the passes provided by The Leisure Pass Group Limited ... is great in concept: See all the great sights of a great city, skip the lines, etc., etc. On paper, it's a great thing. If you are a good planner, move through sights quickly, are taking on traveling like a boss! then have it. It's hard to get the total value out of it (unless you put great value in the not-having-to-wait-in-line, fast-track entry part). There is an abundance of things to see, but not enough time to even see half of it. Even on a slow day, it takes a while to get from place-to-place, go on tours, etc. It is a great pass, but not much "leisure" to it. Still, it's a great way to see London. Before anything, I recommend taking the Hop-On, Hop Off tour, which allows you to stop at places along the way, then wait a pretty short time for the next bus. I recommend first taking the Blue Route, including Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Tower Bridge, Big Ben, St Paul's Cathedral and so much more. Then, I recommend Red (Central London). I didn't go on the others, but the Blue was the best. As for sights, I recommend starting with the biggest and most queue-heavy: Westminster Abbey and Tower of London ... and then prioritize your list from there. read more

Although their site says a refund is available (under certain conditions), I requested a refund over a month ago and am still waiting. I received a prompt acknowledgement of my refund request and...crickets. This is not a good way to do business. read more
Great investment /Awesome London Pass is awesome. Reasonably priced. Fantastic amount of attractions that can be visited/seen. We used the Mobile app to order the passes but you still need to visit the Redemption Center, a small independent building that was hard to locate, in order to activate the passes. They recently added directions from the Leicester Square tube station that make it a little easier to locate. Wish there was a way of activating the pass online when desired or have more than one Redemption Center. My husband and I were in town visiting family in the suburbs. After looking at what is included, they were even interested in purchasing a 1-day pass for themselves. We were in London for 3 days and purchased the 2-Day pass. It was used to visit the Tower of London, Windsor Castle, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, and Westminster Abbey. We also used it for transportation. The only downside is that their Bus only runs until 5PM. Then you need to use the tube or other transportation. Transportation up to a certain amount is included with the Pass. Definitely worth the investment. Great way to see lots in a short period of time. read more

Not worth it unless you go to all of them. They also claim that you can ride the train for free to Windsor with the London Pass + Travel Package. This is actually not true. We were told by the controller that this deal ended April 2022. read more
By purchasing this pass in advance, not only did we get a discounted rate, I also had a list of the attractions that were included in the pass, those that were free through out the city and those that were at a discount. I was able to choose the attractions that interested me and plan out each of our 3 days using that info. There are so many things listed that I didn't even know about like the oldest church in London, the house where Handle and Hendrix lived and Charles Dickens house so we visited a huge variety of points of interest. The value is great if you bundle all the attractions in one area on one day. (One thing that I wish the accompanying book would do is to list the attractions by area instead of type of attraction, that would have saved me a ton of advance research.) I wish there were more hours the attractions were open so that we could have made it to more but we loved our time in London in part thanks to the London Pass. read more
I purchased a 4 day adult pass from Canada (Costco) before traveling to the UK. Seeing 6 sites totals to 138 GBP, which breaks even on the cost of the pass. It's valued at 430 GBP. I managed to visit 13 places in total. I encountered a bit of trouble activating the pass initially as the recommended app (Leisure Group) wasn't syncing with the original pass. Alternatively, printed a copy and used that as my ticket. Had a bit of trouble getting around one day as well as one of the stops had been rerouted. There's no signage to indicate this and no one tells you either. Even customer service wasn't much help as they weren't aware of the detour and insisted that the bus would be arriving any moment according to their schedule. It never came of course. I waited for over an hour before deciding to walk instead. I found the pass useful as a first time visitor who wanted to sight see. It allows you to by-pass the line, which saves on time. read more

Do not waste your money. This company's product is so poor they ask you to buy insurance against the likelihood you won't be able to use it. We were not able to use it due to unadvertised bus route closures, extreme traffic and closed attractions. They refused to refund any of our money. Buy your tickets at the attractions instead. read more
We had 2 days to site see in London and when you do the math, its a no brainer to get the London Pass, as it seems cheaper to purchase the pass. There are a lot of choices and things to see with the London pass but with our 2 day pass, we could barely cover 2 to 3 things. Each site takes about 2-3 hours to visit and to get there (if taking the underground). Most places close by 4pm, so if you end up spending over a 100 pounds and only see 2 things, you might not get your money's worth. It was definitely convenient to have the pass but we had to rush through some of the things, in order to hit up about 3 sites in a day to get our moneys worth. Tip - If you have a Costco card, it's cheaper to get it through Costco. The app is great to have, as it does not require wifi, so you do not have to worry about losing your pass. If you are doing a 2 or 3 day pass, I would recommend hitting up a couple of sites in the same area, in order to cut down the commute time from going to one area to another. read more
Convenient to enter attractions. It feels like a time crunch though if it's your first time in London. You have to plot your itinerary carefully to see more attractions in a day. We got the 2 day pass but I say it's worth it! maybe next time we can get the 5day pass :) read more

Confusing website, poor communication. Was told we could get a 2nd day on the bus (after 5 email exchanges) but NOT told you have to buy it on the first day. Great tour announcers. Overall cost was more than doing it ala carte . Wish I'd read Drew B's review before buying it. Downloaded map of bus route is different from printed map on bus (around the Tower). read more

We were excited to buy these passes and use them. Then COVID-19 came....they would not refund our passes because we did not call within 30 days of buying them. Even during the times where no one could travel around the world they were unwilling to do anything other than extend it for another year. The problem with that is, visiting London may not fit in our schedules again over the next two years. With layoffs happening rapidly, etc. who knows if we can afford to take a trip like that. Because of this terrible customer service I would say, if you're going to buy one of these wait until you get there so you don't get screwed if your plans are changed. Even if it isn't your fault. read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. All it does is put you in very long lines while you watch people who buy tickets for events sail in. The wait time with London pass for events can be more than 2 hours. Complete waste. read more

Very poor customer service and too many restrictions associated with the pass! Will never buy this service again as it is more like a scam than a genuine service! read more

Be careful when you buy London Pass! We came to HMS Belfast, the staff there seem to honor people who buying tickets from their desks rather than those who using London Pass. On April 6/2018, we came there at 4:50pm with London Pass but couldn't get in. Other people came there at 5:00pm buying tickets at the desks still can get in. That's so unfair and bad service. UNACCEPTABLE!!! read more
