If I could give 0 stars I would! These agents are the biggest jerks and the most incompetent individuals I have ever dealt with. Jan and Brandon jerked my husband around for weeks about getting an apartment. Once moved in, we had to fight to get the second parking spot we were promised, the roof leaks in 4 different areas, the ac has broke 5 times and their response to everything is they can't do anything without the owners permission. When my husband requested maintenance to address these problems, Jan had the audacity to write back and say "novel text messages are really my pet peeve"-- ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! I was blown away by the rudeness and the unprofessionalism. I have never ever ever dealt with people like this. The delayed responses, straight to voicemail calls, ignore the text messages.. the list goes on! Where I come from in California, we don't do business this way and we don't treat people this way. Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT deal with these people. Absolutely awful, mentally and socially incompetent. I can't imagine being treated this way in Los Angeles- especially given the $ this apartment costs. read more

As I sit comfy and cozy in my new place, enjoying the view, I realized I should extend my thanks to those who helped in the moving process. The Loft Warehouse, located next to Sala Thai in Eastern Market, represents residential developments in the Detroit area. If you're looking for an extensive listing of condos/apartments/lofts in the downtown area, I HIGHLY recommend popping in. After making an appointment with Sabra I ventured over to their impressive and lovely loft office. Sabra was extremely helpful in and receptive to my needs as a first-time renter in the downtown area. Their property listings are extensive and offer many choices for the renter or buyer. Additional thanks for helping to initiate my paperwork for the midtown incentive, and for allowing early viewing's of properties so soon before my move date. The property I chose is a bike ride from work, restaurants, and friends. The loft is spacious, clean, new everything, A/C (woot!), and very secure. Both the cat and I love the large window and the sun bathing it provides from my couch. :) I'd also like to extend my thanks to the property manager Marc for being equally accommodating! The Loft Warehouse was great in helping me sell and buy. I wasn't planning on selling, but when I heard what units were going for, I was ready to sell. When it came to selling, Sabra, the agent, did a thorough review of comps and explained so much to me that I wish I had known it in my previous sale. I learned so much info in the real estate world that I plan on using them again, if possible. When it came to my purchase, Sabra and her team were right on every detail of the deal. I did buy from Sabra's husband's company, but they had full disclosure and I became assured that there wasn't a conflict of interest. The comps, the price, the negotiations were all taken care of and agreeable. There wasn't a whole lot of back and forth. Sabra was able to get me into the unit several times to look it over, do inspections, and begin the designing of my new living space. She even had someone clean the space for me before I moved in. Two things that hold me back from 5 stars...they asked me to rethink using Quicken Loans. I'm glad I stayed with Quicken because once the paperwork was turned in properly (problems arose from the condo property manager Kramer Triad) my mortgage was approved in 4 days. The buyer of my loft took 45 days to approve, and I wish it would have been quicker. read more

Horrendous service, lousy management and NO MANNERS. I wish I could give them 0 stars. I moved to Detroit last year and was frantically searching for a place because I had only 6 weeks of corporate housing. So I made sure to contact The Loft Warehouse well BEFORE I even moved to town. After emailing them several times with sluggish response or no response at all, I finally got an email back weeks later, indicating they had paid NO attention to the detailed information I had provided to them, including desired rental location, specific units of interest, price range, credit info and moving timeframe [which was 8 weeks from first contact***], I received THIS very rude email back from their no-talent "manager": "XXXX, Since XXXXXX told you last week she would schedule something with you next week, please connect back with us on Monday. Compounded with the fact that you aren't moving for several months, (???) there is no urgency to schedule showings on this holiday weekend, regardless of how your schedule is getting booked up for next week. We normally don't show property at all more than 45 days out. XXXXXX will reach out early next week. But if you are trying to make solid plans too early, we may not be able to help you. THEN when I finally met with SOMEONE from their office after they kept me waiting for two MORE weeks, the woman who showed me one apartment had the NERVE to task me not to work with anyone else. Just an unprofessional experience. Spoke with Chris on the phone and clearly detailed what we were planning to do, price point, and area. When he asked for examples of properties, i sent them immediately. Took several days to get a response, at which point I received an overly brief, sloppy email at 4:00a, indicating they don't do business for the specifics I provided (same specifics as discussed). No recommendation, no referral. Email had all the feel of a late night drunk email and was beyond unprofessional. This is the services industry...act like it. read more

The Loft Warehouse was the listing agent on a Detroit loft I purchased earlier this year. This is how I met Sabra (the Loft Warehouse owner). The agent from Real Estate One who was representing me as a buyer was okay but the differences in knowledge of and the commitment to the Detroit real estate business between Sabra and my agent were far too obvious. So when it came down to selling my other Detroit property it was a no brainer to list with the Loft Warehouse and I am very happy with the decision. I had number of showings in the first few weeks and received a pretty good offer within days of the property being on the market. Thanks to Sabra's expertise we executed an addendum to remove appraisal contingency which protects the seller's interest in case the property appraises for less than the contract price. This is just one of many examples of a strong agent. Ultimately thanks to this and other tireless efforts on Sabra's part I was able to get the earnest money deposit when the buyer backed away from the deal after about 6 weeks of sitting on a signed purchase agreement and moving very slowly to obtain financing. The buyer proved to be very difficult to deal with and Sabra did most of the dealing. Anyway we put the property back on the market at the end of the Summer and finally got it sold and closed on the deal early November. Throughout the entire process I was getting regular updates from Sabra on what was going on and recommendations on next steps. I think that it would be pretty difficult to find more knowledgeable and hard working real estate agent than Sabra. read more

He said it might be too early to look for a rental (which I understand) but then just stopped responding to my text messages so I took my business elsewhere. INVESTORS BEWARE!! SCAM ALERT! NEVER AGAIN! Stay away if you care about your property! I am an out of state investor who had my Michigan condo managed by the Loft warehouse property management company, suite properties, and been through nothing but long months of agony and pain. Once the loft warehouse found a tenant for my condo they disappeared and handed me over to their property management company, suite properties, and let me tell you there was nothing sweet about those guys. Their "professional" plumber caused water damage to my brand new carpets and brand new bathroom door which left a huge water stain that I ended up spending over a $1000 fixing. Their "professional" AC contractor; over estimated a $200 job at $2,500!!! One of their managers explained that the compressor was bad and needs to be replaced and even sent a written estimate from their contractor; Yates Services, explaining in detail what needs to be fixed. I decided to send my own privet vendor which fixed the AC unit in 35 minutes and $2300 less. Obviously, they blamed my tenant for the entire situation. When I expressed how disappointed I am to Sabra, the so called owner of the loft warehouse she told it's my problem since I made the choice of having that specific tenant, one that she herself screened and recommended. They later released me from my contract without even apologizing for the damages they have caused to my property and the major discomfort both myself and my tenant had to go through for a few months. read more
