Superb service. This review is for Dr. Elaine Lu, she placed the crown on the implant that was placed by Dr.Ahn. Both of them were an amazing & efficient team. I had been missing this molar for years, & After Dr. Lu placed my crown it already felt like it was part of my mouth, complete synergy. Because of the excellent service, I had to drop a review cause years later, I have never had issues with my implant & crown. I've followed Dr.Lu for years she does amazing work, I've fallen asleep once or twice during treatment. That is how gentle she works. You can tell she cares about the quality of her work & for her patients. read more

I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Ahn and the team at Loft Dental Studio in Costa Mesa. After a bike accident that resulted in broken teeth and a fractured jaw, they were able to see me on very short notice. Dr. Ahn was compassionate, calm, and extremely thorough during a very stressful and painful situation. He took the time to explain everything clearly, made sure I was as comfortable as possible, and treated me with genuine care rather than rushing me through. The staff was equally kind, supportive, and efficient. From start to finish, I felt cared for and reassured. I truly don't know what I would have done without their help that day. I highly recommend Dr. Ahn and Loft Dental Studio, especially if you ever need urgent dental care. Exceptional service and compassion. read more

I am so thankful I found Dr. Ahn. I had receiving gums and loss of bone but I wanted braces to fix my teeth. He told me about a method called wilckodontics. This is where he performs a bone graft and the same day my orthodontist puts braces on. The bone graft speeds up the process of the braces time. Instead of wearing braces for well over a year I only need 6-8 months! It's been 4 weeks and my teeth have moved dramatically. Dr.Ahn has been so great in explaining everything step by step and documenting each step with photos. He is so knowledgeable with everything teeth and mouth! I'm so grateful I found him and can't wait to see my teeth in a few months. Thank you Dr Ahn and Ivonne, they are the best! read more

Dr.Ahn is amazing. I called Loft Dental Studio on Valentine's Day 30 minutes before closing time because I was experiencing the worst wisdom tooth pain. Within 5 minutes Dr.Ahn gave me a call back and said he'd stay late for me. The way he cared for me as a new patient was awesome, he truely cared about helping me with my pain. He educated me on the wisdom tooth removal process and was very patient with my low pain tolerance. Even though I was in pain, he'd make jokes to try to brighten my mood. He is the best and I highly appreciate the work he did for me! Thank you Dr.Ahn -Rosa read more

I was referred here by my dentist for some periodontal work. Dr. Ahn is such a character but in the best way possible. His positive attitude and humor made the entire process fun and easy to understand. I know fun is a weird word to use since I absolutely hate going to the dentist, but I felt comfortable sitting in his chair knowing that I was getting taken care of. He explained the process thoroughly and provided as much information as possible. He also made sure to work with my insurance to make the surgery more affordable. All in all, the service and dental work was amazing! read more

Dr. Anh saved my life! Let me explain. I have been seeing my previous general dentist for years, but his practice started to resemble an assembly line. I should have took the hint instead of giving him the benefit of the doubt time and time again. The last straw was when I had nerve pain and my tooth was cracked, and he put a crown on it. He did explain to me that there's a 50/50 chance I may still need a root canal. After he put the crown in, I was still having pain but it was more constant. I called his office to tell him about it, and his front office worker told me to keep chewing on that side normally since pain is expected after the placement of crown. Weeks of chomping on the painful side later he said I need a root canal. Went to his referred provider. She said the tooth broke into the root. My general dentist told me had an endontist that comes to the office 1-2 times a month. I scheduled my appointment although I was still reeling from the loss of a tooth through extraction. He told me I would have to pay for another crown. Longer story long, found Dr. Anh. He performed a bone graft on me And instructed me to follow up in 1, then 3 months. I didn't mind paying for his services because it's been 2 months in. I have no anxiety on whether I received the best care I could have possibly received. In other words, my sanity was restored. Great doctor, great person. I'll continue to update my reviews with each interaction in case it could help others. read more

I have seen Dr. Ito since 2017 at his office in Little Tokyo (Honda Plaza Dental.) I honestly have been hesitant to leave a review because it may make it harder for me to make appointments, but here we go. The great thing about Dr. Ito is that he can operate many different procedures. I have gotten anything small from filling to root canal, impacted wisdom teeth extraction, and teeth alignment (at my request) with him. Honestly it has been great with Dr. Ito because he has all the equipment and necessary skills to complete these in a very fast manner, instead of needing to reschedule far in advance or with needing to go to a different office. Everything has been complication free and no pain for me. Additionally, being able to talk to one dentist about all of my issues have been great and easy to manage. Before any procedure is done, he takes x-rays and pictures to explain why he recommends the procedure by pointing out the issues, and his staff make sure to share the estimate. I can ask any questions about pre/post operations, and he explains patiently. Even if I forget to ask some questions, I can ask them via call or text, and they reply super quickly. They are easy to reach. It has been nice to be able to keep the same doctor and staff even after I moved from Downtown LA to Irvine. Few more things to add; -Monique, Virginia, and Sakura are very welcoming and accommodating -It is a popular day, but they are open on Saturday too -They send me a reminder before the visit, so I can always remember the time -If you want to read more reviews to about them, you can look for "Honda Plaza Dental Clinic" on Yelp If you're looking for a great dental experience, I highly recommend Dr. Ito. read more
