Ok this review is not a religious one, its about human compassion and helping others...We were…read morereferred to this church by a friend after the owners of our storage unit doubled our space rent and as retired, disabled seniors we needed help shutting down our unit and moving the things there back to our mobile home - we could not afford the rent anymore...We were familiar with the church because we have donated and bought items at their nice thrift shop on Yucaipa Blvd...So we are not members of the church, but we met with Pastor Willie and he agreed to help us...So we actually liked the sanctuary because it was different, Yup its a biker themed church - with two 'Hogs' by the altar! So the next day they met us at the storage facility and within one hour with four guys and a large stake bed truck they had us moved out, and we then donated some nice furniture plus bought them lunch...This facility specializes in helping the down and out from addicts to the homeless, but they are also famous for helping the local community here too! I'm a woman of color and i attended the church for 2 years ....I was man handled at church by one…read moreof the white man who was called their security ...I talked to his wife and when I came in the church he attacked me ....He man handled me for no good reason ....no one apologized to me til this day and they told me not to come no more ...I felt not safe their so I wasn't going to come there regardless....this is not a safe church for colored people ....They had the nerve to tell me not to come anymore as if I was the problem ....They owe me an apology for making me feel unsafe at church ....No one should feel unsafe at church period !I remember til this day the incident ......God heard my cry that day !!!Shame they didn't acknowledge what they did and how that could have profound impact on my life .
