What a fun little park to visit! First make sure to buy tickets ahead of time, and second make sure to get there 15-20 early. We did both and we were about the 10th car in line. But I will say they do a pretty good job of getting everyone through and in the park. They are also open week days as well. Once inside there are lights galore, and if you go at a slow steady pace you'll really get your money's worth. Soak it up and enjoy with your family and friends!

Well... I decided to get a ticket for Saturday night 12/9 so that was my bad. The wait before getting in the light park was an hour. But it wasn't too bad because we knew we were going to wait so we brought blankets and had the windows down and were listening to Christmas music. At check in they were selling snack at the same time as checking the entrance tickets. This kind of made it a bit longer to those who were not buying snacks. The snacks were extremely overpriced but that was to be expected. Once we were in the park it was like 20mins long car ride. The light show was beautiful and my youngest really had a great time. She had her upper body out of the window and was able to watch everything and sing along the Christmas remix they had going on. We really liked it and made a beautiful family memory that night. Now- is it really worth $50 + tax per car? Absolutely NOT! It is expensive for the little time you are actually inside watching the lights. However is it worth the memory and the good quality time with the family? If you can afford it- absolutely yes!!

We returned this year after our first visit in 2021 and I'll say this time it was much better. We came December 22nd around 630, waited in line until 740, pulled up to the white tent first and it took a moment and then we were through. The start to finish of the lights was about 25 minutes. For $71 I do not think it was worth it.. our young kids enjoyed it but the price is too high for what it is. If you come definitely be patient and pee before you go cause the porta potty even had a line at one point.

Haven't got in yet, been waiting now for an hour and a half. Hoping the 20 min light show was worth the wait.

Amazing experience and definitely would come back next year. The lights were amazing and synchronized to the music perfectly. The Dash Pass was worth every penny to get ahead of the line! They had lemonade (that was lit up) and popcorn that you could purchase for the drive through the lights as well as glow sticks! I would recommend this to anyone with small children!

Went to the one in Arlington definitely not worth it. The ride was super short and the displays were boring.

2+ hour wait due to terrible traffic coordination. Workers don't speak English to assist. Save your money. Waste of time and money.

Waste $72.00 dls and more than 2 hours . Farmers branch, Irving and Dallas have better light places for free.

The weather was cool and comfortable Friday night for walking around downtown Plano and checking out the numerous vendors. Since this event takes place in the spring the weather can be somewhat unpredictable, but it was lovely the evening we went. The main street in downtown Plano is closed for pedestrian traffic only. vendors line the center of the street. Stores and restaurants are open late too trying to take advantage of the increased foot traffic. Parking was free in nearby surface lots. If you get there early enough, you might find street parking. In addition to the main street, there is also a kid zone and a food truck area setup in a street lot. More artists and vendors can be found as you wander around Haggard Park. Let's talk about the art: -Artistic - real photographers, painters and crafts people had their wares on display. I enjoyed the dog silhouettes out of license plates, the lights made from car hub caps, chains and metal bits, and the digital light show put on by UT Dallas students at a warehouse on the main strip. -Unusual - artists spray painting large banners of what appeared to be plastic saran wrap strung between trees. The local maker space advertising some of the cool things that can be done at there 24-hour facility. One guy was making leather jewelry and giving it away to those who stopped by to chat. -Educational - attendees were invited to pick colored caps from a bucket and arrange them into a canvas with sectioned off walls to define the piece. It was visually interesting and educational as it was encouraging the reuse of plastic. Interactive - Invite your dog to have its paws dipped in paint and then run across a white festival shirt as your keepsake. -Dangerous - There was a blacksmith on site welding and shaping iron pieces. There was also a wood worker who was carving his sculptures with a chainsaw. The Usual - face painting, henna hand designs, jewelry vendors, the latest health massage technique hocus-pocus vendors, and size-zero, tie-died, flour sac type dresses, scarves, and bags for the rare young person with the money to buy it and body type that can wear it. This was a fun, free event for an evening out. It went on all weekend, so you could pick the day that worked best for you and your family. My hubby and I made it our Friday date night, and it was a success.

There was a lot of flies at the truck with Santa in it which everyone wanted to take photos in so that was a bit gross but short of that it was a very enjoyable experience. My two year old went on their little train ride which was hilarious since she wasn't expecting that and I'm not sure I was either lol. She came back white knuckled and happy so it was fine. Lots of smoke from the fire pit made it hard to really smell any of the trees. It does add a nice touch to the place though and keeps folks warm which is a plus on these cooler December days. Prices on trees were quite fair (they are precut only this and possibly next year for many they have but still worth purchasing) and the one we got was perfect though they didn't trim the bottom as I asked them to do so we had to do that at home which was not anticipated but we got it done. I look forward to coming here next year. I usually go to Calloways and I wanted to find a local smaller, less commercial place to get my trees from and this one fits the bill. Next time I will be asking that they secure our tree since 380 is a nightmare when it's not gridlock traffic and you're trying to go 50mph down a windy road lol.
