Open gym is a winter time saving grace. This is two hours of play time on huge trampolines, a foam pit, a huge floor, a bunch of traditional gymnastics equipment. Kids are safe to play under the careful watch of instructors. The instructors are keen on the rules and very attentive. I have also notice attendance is capped to prevent chaos. Going deeper, my crew checked out the classes. WOW. Here priceless confidence building, self esteem, and motorskill development are taught. Oh yes...and gymnastics too!! The classes are taught to constantly to take children to the next level, helping them reach their full potiential. My favorite thing about For the Kidz is that safety and the happiness/safety of the children is the absolute priority here. The kids also have a blast!!! Also, if you wait in the lobby...you are in for a real treat! The gym hosts some very competitive trampoline and tumbling gymnast!

Such an amazing school! Both of our children did the 4's preschool and Young 5's at Maple Tree and…read moreit is such a phenomenal program. The teachers are incredible and loving and the academics are top notch. Our children are now in Kindergarten and 1st grade and are excelling. They learn memory verses, reading, math...even their phone number and address. A perfect mix of structure and open ended play. The Young 5's students have one on one time each week where they work specifically on the areas they need it from letter recognition to counting to reading. Perfect for kids with summer and fall and even winter birthdays who would benefit from the gift of an extra year before starting Kindergarten. Tuition is extremely reasonable and the optional "Scrambled Eggs" Fridays are a blast! Maple Tree is like a family! Also, they have small class sizes with two teachers who are genuinely happy to greet each child every day. They recognize every child for their unique gifts. When we brought our child to Kindergarten screening the screener mentioned that they have noticed that Maple Tree grads are especially well prepared. We felt that our son was not ready for full days yet so half days at Maple Tree was truly a gift.

I was previously a member of a privately owned gym, and the management and staff there was so much friendlier and kind. Cancelling there was also a breeze. I will be heading back to that gym and will not be a member of the Grand Rapids YMCA again.
