I went in today to get the eyelash extensions removed by Kim. She was very polite and removed the lashes promptly. I appreciate that since it allowed me to get back to work in a timely manner. While removing them it seemed like she didn't find a problem with them but she remained professional either way. I had the lashes from Wednesday to Friday, during this time a lot of lashes fell out which made them a little more comfortable but my right eye was still irritated since the lashes on that side drooped. Maybe I was wrong to complain about the actual lash application being bad but there was definitely an issue with the extensions. I asked for really natural lashes because I don't wear makeup on daily basis and have my hair up a lot so I like to keep them as natural looking as possible. Regardless of my incorrect terminology, I've had lash extensions applied many times so I know what they should feel like and these were immediately uncomfortable and visibly uneven. Unfortunately, my usual person moved away which is why I tried somewhere new. I think that the Lady Code is decorated well, has a nice vibe, and the staff is friendly; it's obvious that they do a good job since they have a following and awesome reviews but all I can comment on is my personal experience and unfortunately it didn't work out for me. Here are some comments from friends and a coworker about the tint and lashes: "The lashes look like they're a week old. They should look better since you just got them." - My friend Karen the day they were done. "Your eyebrows look uneven, the right one is so much thicker than the left." -My friend Jamie immediately after they were done. "I don't see any issues with the application but they are not the right shape and size for you and the lashes look uneven. I can see a lot more lashes on the right side." - My coworker that happens to work at Lash Bar in SF the day after they were applied. (FYI I didn't know she worked at a Lash Bar on the weekends until yesterday). read more

Lash lift didn't even last 24 hours !! I wanted to get the lift before I got my eyeliner enhancement done but it didn't last. I'm not blaming the tech but I will say the solution Dana uses vs what the lady code techs use is so much better. Kimberly the owner said she'd call but it's been 11 days and haven't even gotten a voicemail. If you are gonna get a lift and tint go to Dana not anyone at lady code ( Dana works out of lash code but I believe is independent) I've gotten a lift and a tint from her and she was awesome. I've since canceled my future appointments with lady code since I haven't heard anything from Kim grist. read more

I've been seeing Kim for some time now, and she is fabulous. I made the mistake of taking a break from lashes for a bit, and went to another salon for a full set because it was a 'really good deal' and I couldn't get an appointment in time with Kim (book WAY in advance, ladies!). Anyway, going anywhere else was a HUGE mistake and I realized what a gem Kim is!! There are a lot of people jumping on the lash bandwagon but not many who have the skill and talent that Kim does. She really is one of the best and worth the wait. Minus one star for having to book 2-3 weeks out and not having many choices for appointment times, you have to pretty much take what you can get. But if you get on the cancellation list or just keep checking online, usually they can work with you! read more

I had to wait a month to get an appointment at a time that worked for me and it was worth the wait! Jade expertly glued 65 lashes on each side and I went for the "cat eye" look with longer lashes on each side and I love it!! The entire experience was very relaxing. You lay down with your eyes closed the entire time. It took a little over an hour to get a full flirt set. The very next day after I got them, I started to have a reaction, I assume, due to the glue. My eyes were watering and felt irritated. When I got home, I looked in the mirror and my eyelids, just on the lash line, were swollen and puffy. I called the next afternoon, still experiencing the same thing and the customer service was absolutely excellent. They suggestions to try to relieve the irritation and suggested removal. They called to check in to see how I was doing and I want to keep them so bad that I am hoping my eyes get better in a couple days. They have glue for sensitive skin, which I was so glad to hear since I am obsessed with my lashes! They have an option for a skin test of the glue, so if you do have sensitive skin, I would suggest the skin test. They have several other skin care and brow services that I want to try. I love this place and will definitely get a refill on my lashes with the other glue. read more

Beauty by Danna operates out of the Lady Code. Purchased a groupon, Danna is frustrating to get a hold of, to book appointments. She asks for texts but doesn't respond. I like to find good people and stick to them, Danna makes that impossible. I've tried a few rounds of contacting her. Ended up having Groupon refund. Don't have time to be chasing her. If you want a consistent, responsive beautician, Danna would not be my recommendation. read more

I got a groupon to try this place for a shellac manicure. I will never go this place again. Cons : . All the places I've gone before always offer water. Also other places give some sort of hand massage. I didn't get either of that. .They don't have a much of choice for the colors. .There is no sign for cash or check only but that is all they take. I had to go next door to get cash from ATM . If it's going to be cash only then have the decency to put up signs. . My groupon was for 17 for shellac manicure but they charged me extra for different color on two fingers. Really? . The lady who did my nails didn't talk to me or even say hi. I don't need a .conversation but at least say hi. .The location is hard to find. Pros I do like my nails but the cons outweigh the pro. I will not be a repeat customer read more

I got a groupon here for their nail services. Everyone was nice enough, no one went above and beyond. I think this place is mainly to get lashes done and they're expanding by doing nails now. The woman who did my nails was so nice, but one of my nails chipped literally the next day, they kept chipping and within 2 days I peeled them because they looked terrible. I just got my first set of Eyelash extensions with Kim and they look fabulous! I went back to work after the appointment and no one noticed. I went to my sister's house that night, and she didn't notice. The next day, when the same individuals were up close to my face, they said, "are you wearing makeup today? Your lashes look beautiful!" The lashes look sooooo natural! Which is exactly what I told Kim I wanted. I am absolutely thrilled with the results and although I initially was only going to get them just for a trip to Europe so I didn't have to wear makeup, I may be hooked after just two days ;-) Kim is wonderful! I would recommend and trust her to do whatever she feels will look best on you. She is a treasure. I love Tan. She did my lashes today I did a full set. She is quick, and did an amazing job. The place is very clean. It's quiet and I practically slept the whole time. I've had lashes a few different places and never did the use a cool pack under the eye instead of the typical tape. I loved that part because the tape almost always bothers my eye the whole time. I feel like it was a bit pricey compared to most places and they even charge extra to see Tan, but she is worth it. I told her how I like my lashes to look and she did exactly that. This has been my go to lash place. Sophia who is now a jr artist I believe was always so pleasant on the phone and with appointments. I had Nara many times and she was great very fast and gave me the look I wanted every time. My last appointment was with Sarah and she was great. She drives so far and is so invested in her clients and I can tell this from just one appointment with her. She was fast and gave me the lashes I asked for. She even was going to stay later on a Saturday for my fill appointment because I was in school at the time and couldn't come during the week. The only reason I stopped going here was because I was in esthetics school getting a lot of facials and my lashes didn't last as long. But now that I'm done I'll be back for sure! read more

I had been a loyal customer of Lady Code/Lash Lounge since April 2013. I diligently got a fill on my lashes every 2 to 3 weeks, for over a year. I loved their Los Gatos location, it was super cute (and convenient). Recently they moved to willow glen, and it went down hill from there. The location is not cute, there are florescent lights (that are really bright when you have had your eyes closed for an hour), and I am not sure how they control the humidity (as they discuss on their website) because since their move, my lashes have not stayed on as well. And they stopped taking credit cards, which is just a pain. I overlooked all of this because I was totally addicted to the lashes. But the nail in the coffin was when I had to cancel an appointment recently. The morning of my appointment I had an emergency doctors visit, and was told by the doctor to be on bed rest for the next few days, as soon as I got home from the doctors (11am) I called Lady Code and told them I would need to cancel my evening appointment due to doctors orders! The lady on the phone reminded me of the 24 hour cancellation policy, and I explained that I was at the doctors and I was unable to go, and I thought that was that, so I changed my appointment to the following week. Much to my surprise when I went to pay the following week, they tacked on a cancellation fee! I again explained my situation to the technician, who shrugged and said that I had to pay for the time of the other technician that I late canceled. Now I totally understand rules, and I am the BIGGEST rule follower. But I really feel that it would be in the best interest of small businesses to forgive a long standing client for ONE late cancel. But I guess it was for the best, I have now found a much better more convenient lash technician and I will not be returning to Lady Code. read more

i hesitate to write this review out of my own selfishness of sharing Casey with the rest of the lash connoisseur world but i also feel compelled to do so because she is SO. AWESOME. AT. WHAT. SHE. DOES. where do i even start... Casey moves at a supersonic application speed while never damaging my real lashes or causing me discomfort. i have never once even felt the feeling of having an extension on, even 3 weeks after my application! she is super down to earth, dedicated and gentle so much so that i (a person who can not sleep in real life) fall asleep, without doubt, every time during my appointment. she is a natural at what she does. when i go in for a fill she always checks in with me about my previous set and is amazing at changing it up and getting creative with length, shape, curl, density and even color! i mean, who even knew these were options? casey can create a big 'ol set of sexy feather dusters or just make you look like you were born with beautiful natural lashes. regardless of what direction i go i get daily compliments. i have had several other people do my lashes in the past and always end up doing a set and then trailing off. casey has me addicted and there has been no comparison to what she does. i could not recommend her more. read more

I had an appointment with Sarah today. My usually go to person is out on vacation. So I gave Sarah a try with high hopes. My lashes looked so horrible when they were done. The corners are irritating me so bad. Most of the lashes and going down ward and it's only been 4 hours. Most of the lashes are already falling out. I called, spoke with Sophia letting her know the situation and the answer I got back was rude. I told Sophia what's happening and that my lashes looked horrible and they're falling off already.
