Michael and I got married in Boston, but thought why not get our engagement session done in Vegas…read moreon a business trip?!! After countless hours searching for photographers and finding the basic kind of cheese one would expect to be associated with the land of drive through wedding chapels, I narrowed down my choice to three: two San Diego based photographers and Jason. While I had the opportunity to interviewing with all three, Jason was the clear winner - not only did he have the artistic documentary style we were looking for, but he was also strong on the technical and post production side, plus the added bonus was our Boston connection (he went to BU). ABOUT JASON Timely - We were 10 minutes early for our shoot, and Jason was 15! Creative - He has great ideas about cool locations where we could have our photo shoot. Even after a dozen trips to Las Vegas, he was able to introduce Michael to some new places! When you look at Jason's website you can clearly see that his strengths are light and form. http://www.jskinnerphoto.com/ Prepared - Jason went on location days before we arrived to test what time the sun would set and when the lights in the art district would come on. Talk about service! It goes without saying that he came with multiple cameras and lenses. Kind and Professional - Jason is fast over email, more than willing to chat by phone, and sent our online album earlier than his initial timeline. On location we was very polite to everyone we encountered. Because we wanted to include an element of story, Jason suggested that we invite Bernard Gaddis to our shoot. The lovely Bernard is a former Alvin Ailey dancer, now part of Cirque and is Artistic Director of his own company www.lvdance.org. Not only did Bernard have great onsite inspirations, but he also taught me how to stand so as to elongate the body, a class in how to look 20 pounds thinner if you will. Your special day is in great hands with Jason. Thanks Jason - you're the best!

If you are looking for a photographer- stop now and book Jason- seriously!!!…read more To me photography was pretty much the most important thing about the wedding. I went through ALL of the Vegas photographers on Wedding Wire, contacted each one for their prices, and then went through all of their galleries and rated them on my own personal 5 star system- Yes I know- CRAZY! The Chapel that we had booked did not let us bring in an outside photographer- so we meet with Jason after the wedding to do a "Strip Tour"- pictures on the Vegas Strip. His prices were great and he worked well with us. I let him know the places I wanted to go and the time I wanted to start, and he gave me HONEST professional opinions that made it so we had great pictures and great lighting. He was more than accommodating to let our family come to the very beginning of our shoot to get a couple family shoots in before we started the normal photo shoot. The day we had our wedding- we were taking pictures outside in the middle of the hot Vegas strip- in 107 degree weather. My husband and I were dying- myself in a huge wedding dress and my husband in slacks and a button up. Jason made sure to keep us in the shade as much as possible. His camera bag was also full of water bottles that he gave to us to hydrate through the whole shoot. He even brought out make up oil sheets to keep my face from getting shiny. And when he ran out- he let use a camera lens cleaning cloth to blot my face. Jason goes above and beyond for the pictures! The day before the photo shoot he went out to the strip at the time we were meeting up at so he could find the best places as well as see how the lighting was. He made sure we got the pictures that we wanted and worked so well with us. He positioned us in ways that make the pictures come out GREAT! They feel weird while you are taking the picture but look AMAZING in the end! The day after the wedding we got to see the pictures that were taken at the chapel (not by Jason). They were horrible! The lighting was crap and neither of us looked very good. I looked frumpy and the shadows on us were horrible. I was a nervous wreck. I thought to myself- crap I look horrible in all of my wedding pictures! Yesterday Jason sent me an email with our "sneak peak"- 3 pictures from our photo shoot. And OMG they are AMAZING!!! I look beautiful and my husband looks beyond handsome! We LOVE LOVE LOVE the pictures. I can't wait to get the rest of them!!! I have seriously looked at the 3 pictures about 50 times in the past 24 hours! My only regret is that I didn't choose a venue that allowed outside photographers in- I wished I had Jason there for the ceremony as well! Trust me when I tell you - YOU NEED TO HIRE JASON!!! His prices are amazing and his work is beyond amazing!

After reviewing a few different videographers, I decided on Alex with ABAV Productions. However, my husband felt that since we had a photographer, he didn't see the point in paying more to have it recorded too. BUT, as soon as we received our highlights video, the very never day might I add, within seconds he said out loud "ok, that was totally worth it!!". First, let me say that Alex was such a pleasure to work with! He was there prior to us arriving, ready to capture any moment possible. He filmed so many different angles, beautiful moments during our photo shoot, even drone footage, and filmed way more than we thought he would. As mentioned, he sent us our edited videos the very next day and we are absolutely OBSESSED!! I have watched our highlights video probably a million times now haha Alex's talent is more incredible than we could have ever imagined, and he captured our day better than I could have remembered. He was worth every penny and more! Not only do I highly recommend everyone gets a videographer for their wedding but without a doubt, hands down, if you are in the Vegas area, make sure you hire Alex. You will never regret it. Thank you Alex for being apart of our wedding & helping us remember our day, this way, forever.
