Following my Turkish-food oriented attitude this period and having discovered the delight of this…read morepizza for my palate recently, last night I made up my mind ...The time was ripe to try this spot and I was not disappointed! At first sight this restaurant looks simple, not pretentious at all, genuine with some Turkish music in the background. We stepped into it, we chose our table and a menu is brought to us at once. It goes without saying that mostly of the meals proposed are PIDÉ, typical Turkish pizza whose shape reminds me of a flat boat. After some thinking, due to the large amount of seasoning proposed, my friend and I ordered a PIDÉ each along with a glass of home-made AYRAN (typical Turkish drink made up of yogurt, salt and water) and an apple tea. Service was quick, a salad made up of lettuce tomatoes and onions was offered to us while pizza landed on our table short afterwards with a nice aroma therefore we pitchforked it in a voracious way. Needless to say that pizza was devoured in minutes :-). In the meantime a procession of clients came to take-away and were clearly in the know about this service. To crown the dinner I finally ordered the typical Turkish black tea which was also very nice though I was expecting the traditional glass shape. Apart from this I'll come back there for sure and next time I'll give a try to desserts which made a gastronomic experience on their own. Lastly, a pearl of wisdom : never judge a place from its appearance but make sure you try its food.
