HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY, CARING AND PROFESSIONAL IN A SAFE DOG FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT…read more I can't imagine anyone would have a bad experience with Carolyn. She cared for our miniature poodle like he was her own. I never had to worry about him! He absolutely loved her, her dogs and her home. She has a huge fenced in yard and ensures the dogs get daily exercise. She screens the other dogs to ensure a safe environment and yes she will turn people away for the sake of the peace and tranquility of the other dog Residents/customers. We employed her services on a regular basis over a 3 year period and not one time was she unprofessional! An amazing alternative to a traditional kennel . She is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to dogs- and helped us with training. I see some bad reviews - all I can say is there has to be more to the story. Fixing dogs is a two way street- You get what you put into it on the home front. Sadly we moved out of state and miss her. We do highly recommend her!

I needed more special attention for having such a small breed. For a larger dog I would recommend them. For a smaller dog I would go to the Doggie Daycare in Johnson City. They were really nice to me at the dog expert however and I appreciate everything done.

The morning appt. went fine but the actual boarding ended up being a nightmare. The dogs both smelled DISGUSTING at the time of pick up and they were not acting themselves. When we got them home, one was vomiting for 1 1/2 days and the other had diarrhea for 5 days. Both dogs had to go to the vet and I ended up spending another $320 in vet bills and medication for a a bacterial infection in my dog's intestine. The vet reported that this would have happened if the dog was exposed or ingested to feces that contained the bacteria. I don't usually like to leave a negative review, but I would hate to see other dogs get as sick as mine did.

She takes such good care of each one of her customers, from the full works spa day to the regular nail trims I take my little beast in for. Even though it's located in the same building as her vet's office, my dog runs in the door when she is going to see Katie. After the service, clients can opt to have a photo taken on a fun backdrop- with props if they're the kind of dog to put up with props. There's a new background each month. All that, and her prices are some of the best in the area. Way less than the chains. Her salon is clean and well-maintained and she always has treats available for pups to go. This is one of my favorite women-owned local businesses to support.

Katie works tirelessly, 1 pup at a time, making sure every detail of his haircut is perfect right down to his tiny toenails. There aren't a lot of people I trust leaving my dog with, but Katie treats every client like it's her own dog and if I have to leave my pup, I'd want it to be with Katie. I don't recommend anyone but Vanity Fur, NY.

The love of animals extends to everyone in the business. I boarded my dog with her for three days and she observed a slight limp. She made a special point to mention it to me and it turns out she caught early lime disease, meaning she saved future expense and health problems. She also knows people at the vet school and was able to communicate her observations to them on my behalf. My step mother also boards her cat there and she loves the service. They have reasonable prices and offer perks like a free bath after a certain number of nights etc. Only the highest recommendation for this place! If you want to know your pet will be safe, happy and loved while you are away, these are the people for you.
