Honest, accurate with his estimate for price and time, hard working and cares about doing it right. We were involved in the whole process, talking through the exact placement and size options and he had very insightful recommendations. He tarped and taped everything off and cleaned up every night so we could use our kitchen each evening, which was really wonderful. He swept up so well you wouldn't even know there was work being done unless you looked at the plastic over the hole in the ceiling. He even did a little extra handyman work I requested (outside the scope of regular skylight work but he was very generously willing and his rate for the handyman service was very reasonable and SO worth it!) since access to the attic is difficult and having the ceiling open was the perfect opportunity to connect the range exhaust correctly to the roof vent (was never done properly by previous owner) which was a huge thing off my to do list! We highly recommend him! Now that our dark kitchen is so lovely and light, I'm already thinking of adding another in the south facing living room, which ought to be the brightest in the house, but the kitchen is outshining it! I attempted to return it immediately, but after waiting approximately 1.5 hours, I was told the system was down and to come back another day. On my next visit, after another lengthy wait, I was told to drive to AT&T to have the phone unlocked. AT&T informed me they could not help because the device was sold and controlled by Best Buy. I then returned to Best Buy and was told to wait 48 hours and try again. Over the course of multiple visits, my family spent well over 10 hours trying to resolve what should have been a straightforward exchange for a defective phone. The final visit alone took approximately 5 hours to complete the return, replacement, and data transfer. What is most disappointing is not that the phone was defective--manufacturing defects happen. The issue is the repeated misinformation, multiple trips, excessive wait times, and lack of ownership in resolving the problem. My wife and I have two young children, and the amount of time required to fix a problem we did not create was unreasonable. I have attempted to raise these concerns directly but have not received a meaningful response. I'm posting this review in hopes that someone from Best Buy management or customer relations will review this situation and explain how this level of customer service is acceptable.
