I think you'd be hard pushed to find better value food and drink in the area. The staff are friendly and remember your name and your drink preferences if you visit more than a couple of times. It's not unusual to have the person at the next table strike up a conversation with you about something or other. It has a nice friendly vibe. The toilet facilities are very clean however busy they get. The indoor seating is less comfortable than I'd like, and the noise level can be a bit high inside the bar when it is full of people. That's why it loses a star.

went to peggys in may and had an absolutly brilliant time the small unpretentious surroundings and…read moreglesga patter were fantastic we had mince and tatties and my partner and i enjoyed it so much we asked for 2nds it was great just like mammy used to make the drinks and food were much the same price as most bars in benidorm but the standard of the food was 1000 times better than most . peggy and her family were fantastic hosts and the bar stayed open untill we left around 2 am we sang we danced we ate and drank and nothing was too much trouble . peggy told us that due to ill health her husband and her unfortunatly were forced to sell up and return home i just hope the new owners keep up the traditional standars that peggy and her husband have set . my partner and i will be returning in september and we plan to make peggys our 1st stop so heres hoping , good luck to peggy and her family and all the best to the new owners im sure you ll have many happy years at peggys tartan bar

As for the third it's a different team who seem unnatented,the meal itself was pleasant enough although the lady never cracked a smile. But 25 minutes later we are sat with dirty plates in front of us and no offer of desert which we were going to have but running short on time as seeing a show later Overall usually an excellent experience maybe in future we will see who's serving
