The person at the front desk is fantastic and helpful! She (I think her name is Elizabeth) has a great personality and is so fun to talk to She is often trying to help me but doesn't have the tools as it seems whoever runs the front office is incompetent...and Dr Matt is great.. however whoever is in charge of running this establishment is ineffective, unorganized and a horrible leader.. I have seen Elizabeth trying to pick up pieces that I can tell were not taken care of my by whoever is in charge of the front desk people... maybe you need to hire more people like Elizabeth and figure out your system Because your system sucks! I've been going to this location for a few months now and I will say everytime I leave this joint I can feel my pain begin to melt away. Dr Matt know exactly what needs to be done when I'm in pain and feel so much better when I leave! Savannah is also the best and I feel welcomed when I come in!!!! read more

I came in originally with sciatic nerve pain, after about a month my entire back was in way worse shape than it has ever been. Adjustments are only about 30 seconds and feel like they are not personal to you just the same one two in and out for everyone. I tried to cancel after pain got worse over the phone they told me i must come in person. I'm out of town for work a lot so I wasn't able to come in. I finally made it in and requested a refund at least for this month because it had just been charged today and i haven't came for months. They told me no because I didn't come in enough. I am 28 weeks pregnant. I suffer from a medical disability and I am labeled as a high risk pregnancy yearning for comfort... I initially called Joint Chiropractic to schedule appointment. During the call, Kathy was just as nice as she could be. She advised me that they do not take insurance due to their low prices. Kathy shared that I would be only paying $29 for my first visit because I was a new patient. When I arrived, Brent was sitting off to the side and greeted us very friendly and loud when my fiancé and I entered the facility. I did not receive x rays I'm assuming because I'm pregnant but there was zero sense of privacy to discuss my treatment plan, care and concerns. During the visit, Brent rushed through the conversation by sharing that Joint Chiropractic offers a membership for $69 and that would offer 7 visits in the future. He shared that 3 of those visits were on them to get you "over the hump." Whatever that meant... furthermore. He shared this before even offering the adjustment that Kathy had shared over the phone. Brent did not share during this lighting bolt conversation that I would be committing to $29 plus $69 at the time of service, equaling $98. When I returned to the front desk, Brent shared and I quote "here are a few more papers you've must have missed with the others." While reading the papers, Brent started talking about icing my lower back if I encountered any pain. There were four customers waiting in the lobby at the time. I did not have an opportunity to read not ask questions during this time of the visit. I'd also like to add, when Brent and I walked from the back Kathy stepped out of the way and stood behind the wall while Brent coerced me into signing the additional documents that I "missed" initially. I paid $98 -- signed the documents and left. After leaving (about 30 minutes later), I called back to the facility and requested the documents be emailed to me. When I took a moment to actually read the documents, there was a substantial discrepancy in what Brent shared vs what was in the contract. You are committing to a 2 month minimum of monthly services paying $69 for 4 visits that will be automatically debited from your account. No refunds will be issued and you need to notify the establishment before monthly debits occur. As another patient mentioned, this place is a scam. They are not concerned with the wellbeing of you and your pain concerns. I emailed Kathy back and stated that I would like to cancel my service. Kathy stated that I would have to return back to sign a cancellation agreement. When I return she had pre filled out the cancellation agreement including checking the questions on my behalf... not only did they bamboozled into signing the initial contract but I was scammed into the completion of my cancellation agreement, afterwards. I listed on my cancellation form -- contract overview and autonomy to choose and ask question. What Kathy checked prior to me arriving back was "yes" to the question: Did the Wellness Coordinator discuss the benefits of the Flex plan with you? I asked Kathy would I be entitled to my $69 back and she stated that she would have to reach out to corporate and "see" if I could be refunded and if I could I would receive it in the mail. Kathy asked for the barcode keychain back, I guess to preserve cost. I reached out to the other Joint Chiropractor locations to solicit a complaint reporting process and I was told that my name and number would be passed on to the District Manager - Matt Gerding. The general public is unable to contact him directly. I have not yet received a call back. I plan to reach out to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and Oklahoma Board of Chiropractic Examiners in the coming days for additional guidance, assistance and support in this process. As a healthcare professional, the integrity of autonomy is essential when providing care to patrons. Please beware of this place at all cost and proceed with caution.
