Cute little coffee shop that served old world coffee beans. Love that I have another option to walk over from silver legacy where I usually stay. . I like coming here for the old world coffee expresso and I do like ordering a ice Americano and it is a really great solid espresso drink. It is under $6 around $5.41. It is served all day so I like how there is another option where I can grab a good espresso coffee other than Starbucks while staying near the casino. . The Ambiance here is really nice and I do love the inside where there is plenty of seedings and is very cozy and warm. They have a really nice outdoor patio where it is very relaxing with lots of comfy couches and high tables as well. You can dine outside or Dine inside. I like using the patio during the late afternoons and before Sunset as well to come here in the morning and having a morning coffee with a really nice outdoor patio vibe. The service here is great and they are always friendly and ready to serve you some good coffee. Hope this review helps and thanks for reading and have a yelptastic day.

New owners is always a bittersweet time. But this one feels extra sweet because they are awesome. The coffee has been fantastic and I cannot wait to try the cocktails one of these nights soon. The interior is beautiful and a great spot to get some work done.

I love the Jesse, the patio is so spacious and is a great spot to soak up some sun with some friends. I also love coming to the Jesse for salsa nights and hope they continue to do those! I actually really like the updated menu to Mediterranean as I always found the tacos to be too expensive. The feta fries are a must really crispy and the zaatar seasoning is great. We got the beef kebab platter the pitas were yummy, tangy red onion, the beef was a little tough though too chewy but the veggies were amazing and everything looked great on the platter altogether. My passionfruit margarita was delicious and well balanced. The drinks still hit and I'm excited about the mediterranean/middle eastern flair. If only they had khachapuri on the menu then my day would really be made!

I was invited to a birthday party here they do catering. And set up a nice room we had hamburgers, chicken nuggets and really good french fries. it was very very well done the bar as well. Attended the people that work. There are very good and what they do. The patio is perfect for a nice non-windy day so I will go back there to try their breakfast menu and they have really good coffee.

Dinner on a Friday night did not disappoint. We were surprised to see lots of open seating. We enjoyed dolmas, Chicken sis Kebab and a Mediterranean Pizza along with a glass of wine. The service was friendly, prompt and attentive. Mediterranean menu. The bar area is visually pleasing. Piped music was at the right decibel and provided a good vibe. There is an outdoor patio with plenty of seating that would be enjoyable during nice weather. There is limited parking in their lot and street parking and bowling stadium parking is near. Happy we gave it a try.

The Jesse is a boutique hotel and bar (with Mediterranean bites), just three blocks off of the main drag (Virginia Street) in downtown Reno. I visited the bar and beautiful outdoor patio (not the hotel) in late August, with the one-and-only Michael T. I believe that the concept was previously Mexican (named Estella), and the rebrand to Mediterranean is new. We visited on a surprisingly quiet, spectacularly beautiful summer Tuesday night. We enjoyed cocktails and a sampling of their newer Mediterranean menu (hummus, falafel, salad, and more!). The drink menu was inspired and the cocktails cooled us down on a warm evening. The bites were made with fresh and flavorful ingredients. We lounged outside on the pretty, enclosed patio. We were shocked that it wasn't busier. If you live in Reno, you should check them out. I'll defintely be back the next time I'm in town. And, helpful to know: they have a private parking lot adjacent to their building, so no need to battle downtown parking. Cheers!

Bar review. Might not be located in the best area of town but The Jesse offers a fine counterpoint to the flashiness of nearby casino bars. - quiet - excellent cocktails and margaritas - small Mediterranean menu

We came to this place on a Sunday evening for my friend bday. I appreciated it being open on a Sunday evening, as many other places weren't. There were only one other couple there, but they had a dj going, which was interesting. He did a fine job, but it made it really loud to try and talk to my friend. Also, this place is modern and beautiful inside. We appreciated the private parking lot, as parking on the street seemed sketchy at best. I felt very entitled sitting lit up in the window eating and listening to music and watching so many homeless people walk by. It always tares up my heart. We were slightly confused becuase we had heard you could order tacos from this place, but that's the place next door that closed. This place only does Greek inspired food. Service was good. We asked for extra pita bread and tzatziki. Their pita bread is so superior to any other I've had. They FRY it. Yes FRY it! My friend is big on Greek food and chose this place. I'm just not big on Greek food in general. The yogurt chicken kabob was charred pretty good but had little flavor. The chick pea meatball things were hard on the outside. It was strange to me. They did give us coupons to come back to free coffee. And their outdoor area is adorable. We will be back just for that for sure.

Cute little place on 4th street by the ballpark. Great variety of cocktails and small plates complete with DJ in a cutely renovated old hotel building. Definitely worth checking out!

Went here with the girls to enjoy the outdoor seating. It's big and very cute with couches and string lights. The passionfruit margarita was really tasty. Our server was nice and made sure we were comfortable and happy with our order. The food was perfect for sharing a few different things. We got the buffalo wings with we're pretty standard. The Za'atar fries were bomb! We also shared the SIS Kebap beef plate. The meat was cooked to perfection and really good. I want to come back and try the smash burger. That was our server's favorite dish. Great spot and the inside is gorgeous.

3/7/2025: The Jesse Hotel, Reno NV--Renault Double Queen Suite. 1. Downside: Historical Building doesn't have an elevator for ADA Guests; no hotel accommodations located on first floor/street level. 2. Restaurant Bar: Millenials' local hangout; bar is packed! 3. Cuisine: TAPAS--$8.00 to $12.00 for petite servings. A. Wait time: Fifteen minutes for First-Born Daughter receiving her three Tapas. B. Ten minutes later, I was wondering where is the steak and potatoes and when will it be served???? Never arrived . . . WTH~Male Waitstaff never annotated the steak and potatoes on the Restaurant Bill! C. First-Born Daughter had to hail another Male Waitstaff ordering the steak and potatoes, i.e., waited another ten minutes receiving the steak and potatoes: Egregiously disappointed not receiving the steak and potatoes tostada when First-Born Daughter received her three Tapas, the steak and potatoes' portion was shocking minuscule for a "tostada," and the steak and potatoes' presentation was obviously lacking--the steak and potatoes was plopped in the center on a black oval plate, less than a dollop of green chile verde salsa and two slivers of onion adjacent to the steak and potatoes! D. Chocolate Pie was served in a mini-flan ceramic dish; serving was just a miniscule as the steak and potatoes Tapas, I took a mini-spoonful, turned my nose up--ANNI MOGO, shoved the mini-flan ceramic dish to my First-Born Daughter who ate a couple of bites which she didn't finish: Strangely odd, the pie ingredients had chili mixed into the chocolate . . . Weird flavor which tasted rudely off-putting . . . AUGH~My lips were burning from eating the chocolate pie . . . WTH!!!! 4. Pear Cactus Margaritas: GET BOMBED FAST and slither underneath the table! Stay the night in the hotel upstairs, i.e., the inability driving is serious--DO NOT DRIVE! 5. Nice hotel accommodations; however, sirens woke me up several times during the night, i.e., I did not enjoy a peaceful sleep. 6. Jesse Hotel: Reminiscent to the Mount View Hotel, Calistoga CA sans swimming pool and spa. Building has ADA parking and a dozen parking spaces. 7. Coffee Bar ROCKS~Coffee Owner owns three coffee shops in Reno, Nevada.

The Jesse hosted a party 20 professionals visiting Reno, and provided great food, fare and fun. The chef and staff were perfect, and super accommodating and easy to coordinate. We didn't get to see a lot while we were in town but if you have time, this place is worth the visit.

We love this spot! Been here multiple times and it never disappoints. Our most recent visit was for my birthday dinner. Arranging the night with management was easy and seamless! They were able to accommodate to our requests and even created a printed out menu for the dinner. A cocktail was even created and named after me to celebrate the night!

I have loved watching it evolve over the years,…read moreespecially the restaurant, which started as a small offering and has now really come into its own. We had to feed a crowd at home recently and Middle Eastern cuisine suited everyone's fancy, so naturally Aladdin's was the call. Using the online ordering system was simple, and the food was ready right on time. My only feedback is that the items don't all clearly describe what you get or how the dish comes, and so I added sauces thinking they came on the side but really came on top, and paid upcharges for things like pita, thinking they didn't come with it but then finding out they did and I just added a lot of extra. I ordered a few shawarma plates, an Aladdin combo, and hummus, falafel, and babaganoush appetizers. Everything was delicious, but some items were a bit surprising. The hummus is was a bit on the loose side, and we actually thought it was tahini from the look, aroma, and flavor. My guess is the batch was made with a bit more tahini than normal. Still good, but surprising. The Aladdin's Combo didn't look as pictured on the website, where it looks like a very sizable portion of meat, with chicken in a reddish marinade. Though the chicken looked similar to shawarma, it was clearly different in flavor, and both it and the koobideh were delicious. I ordered extra meat and had expected it to be outrageously large based on the menu photo of the standard order, but what came was more similar to the photo itself. It was still plenty to share, but I paid additional and didn't seem like I got that much more. The regular portions here are large, like easily feed two people sized. We ordered one plate per person, but in reality could've split them all. Again, I love this spot and chalk this up to learning. I think some folks could get frustrated with this experience, and I def did to an extent, but I enjoy this too much to gripe.

We were not disappointed! Here are a few things to know: - In addition to selling Mediterranean groceries, you can order at the register and there are several small tables so you can sit and eat. - I ordered the Gyro Sandwich, and my wife ordered the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich. Both were really good, and quite large...I, of course, polished my entire sandwich off and my wife took half home for later. - We've bought Greek cheeses, olives, bulghur, and spices at Aladdin's, both this time and in the past. It's the only place to find some of the things I need, and the prices are better on some things than even Amazon. - Service was really great. The person working let me wait to pay until after I had finished my grocery shopping, and she brought our food out to our table pretty quickly. Bottom line: Aladdin's is a go-to place for us...next time, we'll probably go again at a time which would let us enjoy lunch at the same time.

You can build a bowl, salad, wrap, or anything in between. I was so impressed with the selection of toppings and proteins! You can do chicken, gyro meat, or beef, and load it up with all kinds of Mediterranean treats. I ordered a salad with chicken. The portion size is huge! I added feta cheese, cucumbers and tomatoes (those come together), peppers, Kalamata olives, and red onion. Then they allow you to choose a few sauces, and I went with cilantro sauce and a Greek vinaigrette. I was shocked by how fresh-tasting everything was, how huge the portion size was, and how affordable it was. This place is a game-changer, and I wish there were locations all over. The vibe isn't much, but grab some awesome food and take it to go or eat in the Joe. I haven't been a student at UNR for 7 years, but I literally told my wife we should go to campus just to eat here! I found myself out and about with just my son and and we both thought a char grilled kebab sounded like a fun dinner experiment. We popped in and found who were guessing is the owner's child at the register and placed our order for their signature kebab made from ground chicken and Afghani spices. The plate came with sumac spiked basmati rice, two pieces of the chicken kebab and a small green salad plus a green hot sauce. The kebab was tender and juicy with a great flavor profile and a nice bit of charcoal flavor. We thought the rice was actually exceptional light and fluffy with a hint of that citrus sea tang from the sumac, in a buttery finish, made this a nice light side to the kebab. The salad was fresh and crunchy with cucumber, lettuce, and bell peppers and that green hot sauce was really great and we used it as a dressing because the salad did not come with one. For $16 I just felt like the value was a bit often the plate needed at least one more piece of the kebab because when finished with a small tiny salad and the kebab, we were left with a mountain of rice and that is south wasteful. I just wish the plates here were a bit more valued oriented and I guess it will take more people eating here to kind of drive that up. Highly recommend giving it a try plus the market has some really fun fines too. Share your review and let me know what you think.
