I didn't try the food not for the menu looking bad I was just thirsty when I came in. Next time I will be sure to give it a go. When you walk in it is just picturesque, all the bottles behind the bar lit with a neon that gives it a very contemporary feel along with the I can assume copper bar top. If you have questions, you're unsure , or you just plain out have commitment issues then these guys can help you find what you're looking for. My first choice was the green spot single pot (wine series) it was just amazing and not all that expensive. I will save you the tasting details, but I will say that if you love whiskey go there. Even if you don't stop in to see their collection which includes bottles from before prohibition!

This is a MUST visit. The wall of whiskey is impressive. Even more so was the great service, incredible cocktails and really good food. A wonderful atmosphere with great patrons. read more

Fun, easy, totally worth it. We learned some new things about whiskey, tried a couple fancy ones and found our favorites. The bar was lots of fun afterwards to hang out in. read more

This was a total disappointment. Yea, we got to taste whiskey but I wanted to see more of the process.

Servers were friendly and helpful. Food was a little slow being delivered but it was a busy night. The food was good Spiced mackerel sliders were my favorite of the food we tried. The whiskey selection is great. With pretty much every Irish whiskey on the island. Good selection of flights too if you can't make up your mind. Wish I could have tried one of the group tastings but we just missed it. read more

My husband and I were in Killarney in July and took the whiskey and cheese pairing class. It was very fun and informative! I believe our hosts name was Aaron. He was great! I have already recommended this to others I know that are travelling to Ireland. If you are visiting the Killarney area, this is a must do! read more

Excellent experience! The service was spectacular. We loved Luke and his "Kate Collins" - absolutely fabulous version of a Tom Collins. The Blasket was also a great gin drink. The staff is educated on their alcohol, fun, and are very helpful in creating an authentic Irish tasting experience! Cheese and chocolate tastings are a must. Highly recommend trying this bar! read more

If you have never done a whiskey tasting I would definitely stop and do this. If you have already done one, I would skip the tour just order from the bar. We could have gotten the same tasting without the tour for half the cost. Alan was great though, and very knowledgeable. read more

Highly recommended. Nice, educated staff who helped pick out a good sampling of Irish whiskeys. The vintage Jameson is a fantastic choice!

My wife and I visited here and took the beginners whiskey class on our honeymoon. Our guide, Gary, was incredible. We learned so much and ended up with a private class as we were the only students for that hour. The amount of value you get from the fee is exceptional. We tried 5 whiskeys, did a scent test / game, and other activities over the course of an hour. Gary also served us at the bar later and helped guide us in what we liked and gave spot on recommendations. Even if your a whiskey enthusiast, don't overlook the beginners class! The bar is beyond peer. Everything from Jameson's to ultra rare drams and everything in between. What was even more remarkable was the prices were more affordable than most any other pub we encountered. If you're looking for a hard to find whiskey or just want to learn more you must visit here! We did not eat here but we definitely drank or money's worth of whiskey. My wife and I both agreed when we come back to Ireland we are going to take multiple courses and drink some of our new dream whiskeys. read more

This class was informative, fun, and well thought out. I took the Distiller's Apprentice class with five family members, all amateur whisky drinkers. We had a great time! Our host skillfully answered our questions, provided a wealth of information, and truly turned us on to a variety of whiskies we may never have discovered otherwise. He really took the time to help us appreciate the finer notes of whisky, and we each came away with a favorite (or two). It was time and money well spent on vacation in Killarney. read more

Excellent experience. Quite good for beginner, intermediate, probably even advanced whiskey enjoyment advocates. The cheese/whiskey pairings were superb. The pairings: 3 of the 4 were amazingly paired, with the 4th being more of a "yeah, I can see it" after the explanation for the pairing. Don't take this as a judgment on the whiskeys or the cheeses: there are ranges for both. The pairings were great. read more

Great little pub. Makes their own whiskey. Luke was a fabulous in sharing about whiskey. Was not familiar with Irish whiskey, but fell in love. Just like wine, each barrel can be completely different. He brought out little viles of the different types of flavors you can taste and smell. He spent a lot of time with us. Thoroughly enjoyable. read more

This place is a gem. I did the beginners whiskey class with my mom, and we learned SO much. Our guide, Gary, was very knowledgeable and very funny! The next evening we went back for drinks and poured our own bottles of whiskey and every staff member was so friendly. I cannot wait for my next trip to Ireland so I can come back! read more

Amazing place. Evan (our bartender) was very funny and knew everything about all whiskeys. I don't even like whiskey and he made me some wonderful concoction that tasted just like candy. The food looked amazing but we sat at the bar and enjoyed just the same. Highly recommend a visit. read more

Great experience with our great host, Allen. In the 1 hour session, we learned quite a bit about the history of Irish whiskey as well as tasted 4 different whiskey / cheese pairings. Highly recommend for whiskey newbies (us!) or obviously for you well seasoned whiskey drinkers! read more

Cáit is very knowledgeable and does a wonderful whiskey tasting experience and for the whiskey that you get to taste it is worth the price! Otherwise the bar is completely stocked with almost any kind of scotch and Irish whiskey you could possibly want to try! read more
