**UPDATE 01/04/2017 We are still waiting after 2 months of…read morerequesting, for an electrician to come out and fix our electrical problem. Lights in master bedroom and upstairs trip for no reason** He has lost several contracts with local businesses due to him owing too much money or not paying them at all**** Horrible experience all the way from beginning to end. I know people don't usually like their contractors, but this goes to the extreme. From day one he sold us on the house and property we were looking at. Very good businessman. Told us his biggest worry was pouring the foundation and that was the time he stressed about, didn't sleep, and was always out there with them at 4 am when they started. The first time they tried to pour foundation there was so much trouble trying to get to the property with the trucks and other confusion, and guess who was no where to be found. Not at the property, not answering his phone. He was hunting!!! Should have known then. Throughout the entire process we had so much trouble getting in touch with him, his sub contractor never knew what was going on. More than once we went in there and they had no idea something was supposed to be done. Subs were horrible. We would have had better luck contracting out ourselves. There is a long list of things that went wrong but I don't think yelp would let me type that much. Our concrete driveway was poured wrong, the gravel was shotty work, (took forever for them to fix it, and still wasn't what we wanted), he left a broken window in our utility room after closing (shame on us for trusting he would fix it). They never could fix the hardy board correctly, we still have pieces that look like garbage. We went with stained concrete throughout the house and knowing that, they did not take care to finish the concrete so the stain would look good. It's uneven in areas, there are pencil markings all over the floor (this shows through the stain), and they spilled the cabinet stain on the floor in a couple of spots that also shows through. Looks terrible. The guy that did the stain (great work by the way), said it looked like one of the worse concrete jobs he's seen. Never took responsibility for everything that went wrong, always had an excuse. They skimped on insulation in our attic, and we would have never known had my husband wouldn't have been small enough to fit through the opening to check. Even came back with more insulation and missed spots. Will cut corners to save himself money but still charge you full price for everything. We had a year builders warranty to have things repaired and fixed, they came twice and both times skimped on stuff we asked them to take care of. The second time they came, the painters caulked holes and cracks and left the caulk without sanding or painting the spots when they were done. Another thing we had to go back and do ourselves. We've had our master tub and shower seams fixed twice, and still done poorly. We have purchased our own caulk to also fix this issue. The concrete slab that our a/c unit is on turned out to be not a concrete slab at all. Instead of pouring a small slab for the a/c unit he didn't to have the company he used bring out a square piece of hard plastic and has that set on 4 bricks with the a/c on top. Not even close to being level! Our leftover bricks went missing at the end, and Daniel said he didn't know anything about it, his sub said he was told by Daniel to pick them up. Only after filing a police report for theft that they magically appeared back on our property. I can't in good conscious ever recommend this man or company to build anyone's house. I feel if we wouldn't have been so diligent in going to our house multiple times a day every day, we would have been shafted on so much. Only cares about the money and not about doing honest, quality work. I'll be happy to give you more details if you have any questions, I'll even send you more pics if you want to see!
