I recently had an issue with Yelp, and they deleted a couple of my older reviews. One of them was for this barber shop that I visited last year around this time. I was visiting from North Carolina and had to delay getting my haircut in my hometown just so I could return to Chad and his fantastic barber shop. The first time I went there last year, I found the shop and was a bit hesitant while sitting in my car and looking at the outside. But then I went inside and saw Chad cutting someone's hair. I sat down in a chair and waited my turn. The person who was getting his haircut was a law enforcement officer, and he told me that all the local cops use Chad for their cuts. I stayed and got one of the best haircuts ever (I'm 65 years old!). Chad is a great guy with a positive life story. Don't let all the tattoos fool you, he is a sensitive guy. He is very passionate about his work and is a consummate professional in every way. Got my second cut this week during our Christmas visit to SD and Fallbrook. Love it! read more

Chad is awesome! He and his team always cut my hair the way I like it. The prices are fair and I always leave happy with my fresh cut. Two things: 1) I highly recommend customers make an appointment ahead of time, as the crew is often quite busy with customers, so walk-ins will have to wait their turn; and 2) they don't take credit cards, so plan on either bringing cash or paying via Zelle/Venmo/etc. read more

Sat there for an hour and a half and no one told us they were booked through the end of the day and had no time for walk ins. Their regulars came and went and seemed happy to be there. TLDR: great price, great service, great cut, highly recommend... Took my son in for his first barbershop haircut today (we usually do it at home), and it was such a great experience for our boy! Our barber was Tristan, he was so engaged and kind and did an amazing job on his hair. The owner Chad was also there and he was hospitable and super friendly to us between his own clients. Old fashioned small town barber. Stopped by a couple times while in the area, with different barbers each time, and received a great cut at a good price. Location: Tucked under a small business building off Mission Rd making it a little hard to see from the road but obvious once you pull in. Parking lot is limited but it hasn't been a problem on my visits. Service: If you're looking for a quick cut and run this probably isn't the shop for you. But if you want a professional barber that takes their time, and a small town atmosphere where folks stop in just to have a conversation then you've got the right place. read more

First, let me just say I scheduled my appointment here by mistake BUT will intentionally be coming back. My husband was in dire need of some manscaping or whatever it's called idk - I am not a barber, ok - and he had a some lady barber over in Bullhead who seriously jacked up his hair - it grew back but ... now he's like a kid going to the barber. Now you have to go through some app to make an appointment, ok ugh. Hello, that almost deterred me, uhhh, I so long for the days when a person answered the phone - I'm a boomer - just saying. Anyway, I go to the place where I thought I'd made the appointment and realized, "Shoot, this isn't the place." Rushing over to the right place - mind you my husband doesn't even want to go to the barber and any excuse to not go - uhhhh no. So navigate over to this place under the red eye saloon. I tell my husband go and point. TLDR: excellent cut, fair price, cool vibe, friendly barbers, clean, 100% satisfied, would recommend. My son's hair looks fantastic. We're visiting from out of town for a funeral, and I realized at the 11th hour that my son's hair was basically a mop. This place was just down the street and had good reviews so I thought I'd check to see if they had time to get him in. Chad (I think?) cut his hair and, I don't know how he did it, but he got my son's cowlicks all under control. Sorcery, probably. I'm bummed I didn't think to take pictures right after the cut, but I'll include pics of my sad attempt at styling it. Both barbers that were there were friendly, and I really liked the Americana/Western/Harley/Vintage Pinup vibe, too. The price was exactly what I was expecting to pay, definitely fair. The workspaces were kept clean. I think my son's favorite part was the Otter Pop at the end. Way better than the cheap-y plastic prize the kids get at the salon back home. Hours stated open till 5 PM. I drove to the place of business and walked in at 3:10 pm. The door was open. A barber was cutting a client and said they were closed for the day. I don't know why the barbershop would be closed at 3:10 PM when it's supposed to be closed at 5 PM. Either update the hours or forecast the correct number of barbers to be present to cut hair for customers. I wasn't given a reason as to why they were closed almost 2 hours prior to the posted closing time. read more

Quaint little John Wayne and Johnny Cash place with Jameson bottles, great music and that good old/timey retro feel. The barber I had got free range blank canvas on my hair and was plain and not really modern but he was willing, so if you want basic cut this should do the trick. The two guys were a lot of fun and I love the Free-Speech, Non-oppressive, Fascist-Free friendliness of these two tolerant examples of what makes a great society. I will be back. read more

My husband has a broken hip and brain cancer, so it is not easy to transport him. Both times, when we arrived they were not there - CLOSED! Today there was a man sitting there who had been waiting an hour. This was important to me as we are renewing our wedding vows tomorrow and I wanted my husband to be groomed. Went here because I wanted a cool haircut. What I got was a free beer, a lot of laughs, awesome stories and a cool haircut. Chad and Cody are solid dudes. Great atmosphere. Chad might look a bit scary, but he's good with kids as well. The little boy that got his cut before me was crying and Chad was able to calm him down and bust out a trim for little guy super quick. Fair warning though, they are walk ins only. So sometimes the wait is a bit long. For me it was totally worth it, and I'll be heading back in a month for a trim up. read more
